The Dolphins said that Berger was the only free agent in for a visit Friday, however, they are not required to report visits from players who meet with the team after 4 p.m

Look this catches me by no surprise. Parcells runs a thight ship and doesn't like things getting around. Don't ask me for a link, but I read agents have been sworn to secrecy when dealing with Miami and things are not allowed to be leaked to agreements are made. Miami is working the phone right now as we speaks.

What Im about to say is just an opinion, but it catches me by no surprise that Brown has not been signed yet it does not take all day to sign a guy who visited your facility. I think Miami is making a play for Brown, just a gut feeling not a rumor.

If they are, not for the kind of money the Rams offered.

I hope so that would definitely shore up a much needed area for improvement and let us use our first pick on a receiver.

Look there are rumors Brown does not want to play the Rams and he does not have the market he thought he would have. So he either signs with them for the money or he comes to where his heart desires.

Like I said you think if he really wanted to play for them he would not have signed for the 7 mill already. It does not take all day to sign a guy who is at your facility. My prediction is something has gone wrong.

yea they will not be paying brown 7 mill a year, they can draft a few large bodies to round out the inside of the line. The only FA i can see is CB and OLB

I think if we signed Brown, we could actually use one of our first three picks on a skill position.

this is true. Did ANYBODY hear anything about Gibril Wilson before he was signed? nope. and just like that, he was signed.

with all the needs we have on the OL, CB, WR...it wouldnt surprise me one bit if we were on the phone right now with agents for Brown, Marvin Harrison, L. Coles, Leigh Bodden, Nate Washington, Bryant McFadden, Joey Galloway, or heck...even Ray Lewis. ALL.OF.THEM.

obviously we wont sign them all, but if we get 2 of those guys, ill be happy and set til the draft.

The Miami Herald is reporting that C/G Jason Brown has agree to terms with the Rams.

Brown was believed to be a target of the Dolphins, and the Herald is the only source weighing in thus far. Brown was in discussions with the Rams all day, and talks picked up again after dinner Friday. The best interior lineman available, Brown did not visit with any other teams.

Marvin Harrison, is NOT coming to Miami. (at least not as a member of the Dolphins.)

I am thinking Brown really used the Rams as leverage to get other teams to bite and give him his money. I think he really wants to go to a contendor and Miami could be one of those teams. With that said don't be suprised if Miami is offering something along the lines of $5.5-$6.5 million a year. There is no suprise the FO really likes him, but don't expect him to get the big bucks from Miami. Brown might decide to go with the money and sign with St. Louis.

Mack, Unger or Wood in the 1st 2 rounds likely.

Draft Alex Mack at Center.....he will be better than J. Brown as a rook.
