Becaause we constantly have idiots running things. Sage was a free agent, we should have resigned him, it would not have cost alot but we really did not give him much chances to be a starter so he went elsewhere and played well last year when Schwab got hurt.

Out of all the QB's on our roster prior to last year, he's the only one I would have kept.

You have to consider the fact that Spielman is the Vikes GM. A 3rd rounder is too much, imo. I'll be happy for Sage if the trade happens though.

Well, yeah.

Compare the season he had last year with the rest of his career.

Not shocking.

how does a man like that get a job n millions? he clearly has no idea wtf hes dong.

The headline should read Texans accept Vikings offer of 3rd for Sage. The fact they even have to spend time to think of this is alarming.

i agree with this. he was a great back-up, played decent with us... was playing well in washington before too. he could of pushed for starting instead of that fruit we had before. definitely would of been cheap at the time too.

we never get what we should for players when we trade or anything. hence why we struggle often.

The worst thing is Rosenfels is worth trading for but a third might be slightly high, but if 37 year old Green was worth a 4th/5th maybe a 3rd for Rosenfels isnt such a bad deal. Rosenfels last year out played any QB that we have traded a pick for.
