Coach Flores coached Roberts in New England as a linebacker. I think the main reason he's coming here is because of his linebacker play. Yes, he killed us on a play where they put him in as a fullback and we didn't defend and he scored a touchdown, but that was the exception, not the norm.

He filled in at FB for them many times last season, wasn’t just against us. He took 50+ snaps at the FB position. While I agree he was brought here for LB, I think Flores likes that versatility, as he does with all his players. I do think it makes Cox expendable.
