With the 2018 season now in the books and the NFL Draft still a couple months away, I figured selecting an All-Decade team for the Miami Dolphins might be a fun exercise to pass the time. While my selections are purely subjective, I’m sure it is likely to inspire some lively debate. Feel free to mock my picks @S_Mangone1032.

Hahahahaha wow no wonder why we have been mired in mediocrity - the all decade team on offense is a who’s who of average players.

The one guy I just couldn’t take seriously on there was Hartline. I’d put Marshal over him. He didn’t have the drops in the EZ - people like to make a big thing out of that and he was more dominant w shitty QB play than Hartline was w shitty QB play. Man this is sad because overall Marshall was barely good. Can’t believe I’m doing this. Our all decade offense can’t even field 5 o-linemen it had to use Pouncey at Center and Guard.

Defense is top notch though. Sign me up for that unit any day. Can’t believe Ireland cut Dansby and Burnett to “get younger” w those two ****tards in Ellerbe and Wheeler.
 
Makes no sense to have Pouncy both at center and guard. He sucked that year he played guard. JT should not be there either after playing one single year. And Minkah after only one year? When you look at that team it goes to show you how bad the talent level has been.
 
Changes I would make:

John Jerry at RG by default

Kenny Stills over Brian Hartline at WR2

OV over JT at DE. Not gonna take that away from one of our best draft picks this decade.

I guess I would keep Ajayi despite only having a real 1 year look at it . . . .but it was a heck of a year.

Crazy that someone like Kevin Burnett makes this list by default. We have really sucked at a few positions this decade. OG and LB stick out like a sore thumb.

Overall just a saddening list for an all decade team.

Stills for sure. I said Marshall but Stills more impactful than both of them.

Even with those changes that team would still suck which is very telling as to how bad our FO has been for the last 10 years or should I say for the last 20 years
 
I think I’d already give left tackle to tunsil unless this is before Jake long fell off.

Brandon Albert was pretty good for a year or so too.

Right guard Jesse Davis went from maybe the guy to major disappointment in one offseason.

Burnett and Dansby and yeah maybe Kiko given how bad our lb play has been for what feels like forever.

Surprised they didn’t hose juice out of his place lol

Yea I expect at the end of the decade Tunsil will be the clear LT choice. But first year was LG and second year wasn’t very good at LT . . . But last year was probably the best year of any LT this decade so that has to account for something. Albert missed like half the games he was eligible for I believe and really struggled late in 2016.

:drop:You can't seriously be saying you would take Olivier Vernon over Jason Taylor. There is a reason Jason is in the HOF.:rolleyes:
 
The defense is solid, even if it is a little iffy (how many plays did Jason Taylor really make this decade?). But that offense has some serious holes! Wow, no wonder we have sucked for so long.
 
Does this team win at Gillette with a healthy Brady?
We may have to go back two decades...
