Miami Dolphins Coach Tony Sparano Firmly on The HotSeat

I cannot understand why Ross hung Sparano out to dry after the end of the season, but then kept him when there were other good candidates besides Harbaugh. All that did is delay the inevitable and further enrage the fans. There's no way Tony makes it through the season.

Agree. The only thing that would even make sense is that the person he really wanted wasn't ready (Cowher) and they have some type of gentlemen's agreement in place for after the season. Sounds foolish, but I can't think of any other reason.

I'd fire Ireland before Sparano.

That classless douchebag needs to be the first one shown the door. He casts a dark, pretentious vibe over the franchise. His insecurity wreaks over all the mediocre talent he brings in.

I agree that Tony has to go, but often wonder if everything is his fault like many people here seem to think.....do you guys believe that if we get rid of Tony all of a sudden our team will start to win? Are the players really that good but are being held back by Tony, or are they not as good as we seem to think? In the end I guess there's only one way to find out tho. I just think is a combination or coaching but also players.

Ozzy rules!!

If Miami loses to Cleveland, Ross needs to put Tony out of his misery. Just look at the amount of heat he's gotten just AFTER two games.

these types of things are always said based on perception. then new guy takes over and you realize what you dont have anymore that maybe was positive. Negative news travels ten times faster and spreads much much quicker.

henceforth the cliche, you never know what your missing until its gone.

now i know this wont convince you or anyone else for that matter, but these fans clearly focus on negative all day every day.

So, tell me exactly what this team would miss when Sparano is let go? Wasted timeouts? Fist pumping? Bad coaching? Piss poor OL? Meatball sandwich eating contests? I don't think I would miss any of those things at all, quite frankly.

It didn't take a genius to figure out sparano wasn't head coach material shortly after he came to Miami....
