Current Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers finished Sunday's game against the St. Louis Ramswith a 119.6 passer rating. Rodgers has had a passer rating better than 110 in all six games so far in 2011, becoming the first player in NFL history to complete such a stretch.

Rodgers' accomplishment also means that he has had a passer rating over 110 in six games each of the last three years. That ties him with Hall of Fame quarterback Steve Young as the only two players to have such a statistic. Young did it in the 1992-1994 seasons.
Not to be outdone, New Orleans Saints' quarterback Drew Brees and New York Giants' quarterback Eli Manning set marks of their own. Brees threw for 383 yards against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers yesterday, making him the first player in NFL history to throw for over 350 yards in four consecutive games.

In all honesty, it's a different game these days. I'm not sure QB ratings are really a good comparison.

correct...not allowed to look at the qb today, not allowed to touch a receiver...the NFL has done everything it can to make OFFENSE the most important part of the NFL game outside of taking the defense off of the field...if dan was playing today he would shred everyone...

Packers have put together a ridiculous offense. Ted Thompson...who we should have hired...knows what the heck he's doing. The chemistry between Rodgers and Greg Jennings is unbelievable, it's like they communicate telepathically. Then you have Driver, Jordy Nelson, James Jones, Randall Cobb and to top it all off JerMichael Finley...yeah, that's not fair. Rodgers is already good then you have the best receiving corp in football...I guess some teams know what they're doing in the draft.
