Miami Dolphins glad Bell is back in gear

He's decent when healthy. Better then most of our secondary.

Bell is a monster when healthy. Like one of the posters on that site said it probably won't be cheap to re-sign him, especially if they wait too long.

With his injury issues, he can't command that much . . . or it wouldn't be worth it. I'm sorry I have been hype too many times for the kid and he ends up being hurt. I think getting a deal done with him is a priority but we shouldn't break the bank for him.

The only guy I can see us paying big time is Vernon. We got some big time pay days comming up for some key guys . . . will be interesting to see who the front office decides to keep. I think potentially both Roth and Crowder are expendable . . . but with the lack of depth at safety, Bell may be a priority . . . and Vernon obviously is a prioriity with the lack of tackle depth on this team. We gotta prepare for that Ronnie Brown extension as well.

I just wish Bell would stay healthy. It takes great conditioning to be in top off injury form. The dolphins are doing a great job this year with strength training.

Roth signed a 5 year contract as a rookie so he is no free agent this year http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpages/player_main.aspx?sport=NFL&id=3190

and I hope that Crowder will be re-signed and hope for a Ronnie extension too :)

and imo other teams will have questions about Bell because of his injury history.. thats maybe an advantage for us in contract negotiations

Am I missing something here? From the stats I've read, he missed three games his first year, none the next two years, and had a career ending injury early last year. I don't think those are issues, since many have freak injuries, and I don't think he's been disappointing you on a yearly basis.

i like our DCs take on Bell....
''Everything he does, he does 100 miles an hour, whether it's practice or the game,'' defensive coordinator Paul Pasqualoni said. ``The guy's got one speed and that's the way he plays. He's great to have on the team.''...i just hope he can finally stay healthy for us and become that Pro Bowl Safety we know he can be...

Spare me. He's a lot more than decent. What games have you been watching?
He was all over the field against the Chargers and looked like a pro bowler in that game.
BTW, it may have escaped your notice, but the secondary has been excellent the last 2 games.
