Whata New Yorkin, losers even when winning, can't stand their own city, worst stadium fans EVER, jet thing to say. If the above rings true, he'll have the jests to thank- no better chokers in the NFL. They gave him the biggest tease of his career and then :cough: :cough: :gurgle: :coughed: it all away. They should let him in just for having to wear slime green.

He won't be a first, maybe even second ballot but he gets in.

i dont really like taylor, but there is no way he doesnt get in the hall of fame.

it would appear that this is what his campaing is all about. He will not gas out because mentally he has an important goal. He has something important to fight for.

I think he will get in regardless of how many sacks he has this year. Don't forget all the forced fumbles, interceptions, touchdowns, and defensive player of the year.

5 sacks would give him a 3 way tie for 6th. 5 1/2 sacks would be sole ownership of #6. Another Safety would give him 4, tied him for #1 on all time safety list. A fumble recovery would give him 30, sole possession of #1. He already has 4 Fumble recoveries for TD, #1 on all time list.

A reasonable season: 5 1/2 sacks, a fumble recovery and a safety. Similar to last year. He would be #6 All time sack leader. #1 All time fumble recover. #1 fumble recover for TD and #1 All time safeties. Sounds like a Hall of Fame Career.

You don't think his career has been as good as John Randle's? What does Randle have that JT doesn't? Neither got a ring. Neither went to the SB. Both got to the Conference Championship Game. JT has more sacks. JT has a defensive player of the year award.

The differences:

Randle averages more sacks per game
Randle was a DT not a DE most of his career
Randle had 9 double digit sack seasons, Taylor has 6 and both played 14 years to this point
neither had great postseason sack #s BUT randle had 3 in 13 games while Taylor has ZERO in 8 games.

if chris hanburger and les richter got in, JT is a lock for the hall of fame.

That's his best shot I believe. 20-25 years down the road a vets committee that just looks at sack #s and ignores being the leader of one of the greatest choking Ds of all time and ignores his poor play in big games and ZERO postseason sacks.


Kevin Greene and Chris Doleman, both better pass rushers w/ more sacks are not in. Jason is going to have a very hard time getting in.
