It hasn't been difficult during the first three days of training camp to determine why the Dolphins invested major coin in wide receiver Brandon Marshall -- but breaking down the impact of Miami's other major offseason acquisition isn't always as simple.
So how is middle linebacker Karlos Dansby doing? Well, take it from his coach, who offered a glowing review of the team's $43-million man.
On Sunday, coach Tony Sparano was asked to identify one or two players who have already stood out as ``eye-popping'' after just one weekend of camp. Before noting he doesn't like to ``single any guys out,'' he shot some major praise in Dansby's direction.
``I've been really impressed with what's happened with Dansby right now,'' Sparano said. ``The combination of him and Channing [Crowder], when you're watching them communicate, has been really impressive to me. So Karlos would be a guy for me.''
Sparano said Dansby's massive frame -- he's listed at 6-4, 250 pounds but looks far bigger -- provides him with range unlike many other players at his position.
``He's so long, and he runs so well for a big guy,'' Sparano said. ``When Karlos sees something, he pulls the trigger right away. Some people don't do that. They see it, and they don't quite pull the trigger and now, there's a missed tackle. So I've been really impressed with that part of what he's done.'

I'm definitely getting a Dansby jersey soon.

I might be holding out for a Misi jersey.

"Some guys don't quite pull the trigger"... sounds sort of like Channing...
