Draft some ANGER on the defense of side of the ball. If Danny Shelton is there Miami pust pull the trigger on him. He had 53 Tackles, 16.5 for loss, and 9 sacks. Imagine him lined up next to Suh. Brady would begin to s**t his pants when this move happens. This would allow Dion Jordan to Roam the field as a stand up defensive lineman. He could blitz or drop into coverage and cover Gronk. Miami will have the number one defense in the NFL. We already have a lock down corner in Grimes and one of the best safties in Jones. Hopefully Walt Aikins steps up in his second year. If Jamar Taylor can stay healthy. This will be very scary Defense for all opposing teams.
 
Just say no to a DT in the first round. Total luxury pick. How does that equal Jordan being effective all of the sudden? Yeah you're right we only have 1 good corner in Grimes currently and Jones is good. Pray to God that Delmas returns to form too

I like how you assume adding another big name DT is going to fix the rest of our defense smh
 
No that would be the worst pick. We have plenty of young DTS who haven't really played. Francis is going to be good. We need an ILB and a CB. Neither of those positions have a player worthy of taking at 14. With that reasoning is why we go with Gurley or a WR at 14. The CBs are being inflated bc it is a crappy class for CBs. Not taking Kendricks at 14 so that's out of equation too.
 
I don't subscribe to this notion of "luxury picks". Impact players are never luxuries and are more important than a roster of average players.
A roster full of average players gets you average results i.e. 6-9 wins per yr.
 
Brady has played better D-lines before and had no issues. Brady destroyed Suh and the Lions. Dolphins need offense to beat NE
 
If no Danny Shelton in the first round we must address WR. If the top 3 are gone Cooper, White, and Parker. We can draft OGB he has similarities of Calvin Johnson and Dez Bryant but the off the field concerns and the Miami life turns me away. Gurley is to injury prone in my opinion. Melvin Gordon is the best back in the draft. He is the same height as Todd 6'1" and weighs 215lbs as to Todd Gurley who weighs 222lbs. Miami gets a strong guard and were in Business. Miami has to smell the Super Bowl to prevail.
 
If Cooper, White are gone and Shelton or Sherif is there at 14, I would take Shelton.
3 out of those 4 players I mentioned will be All pro, and it will not be Sherif.
Defense wins championships.

So everyone else other than a DT is average huh?
 
That's true. Defense always wins Championships. Danny is a rare breed. Compared to Vince Wilfork. I heard Joe Philpin was salivating over Danny at the Senior Bowl
