Hmm...
He’s my #1 whether he comes with Harbaugh or not.
I think that’s what Darlington is alluding to here:

Yeah, there was no reason to drag Grier and McDaniel back last season after things were already regressing. It wasn't as obvious as this year, but I wanted a change for sure, especially Grier. If Harbaugh is hired (a big if I know) can you still argue with Ross's process?
I've been listening to these radio broadcasts and they keep saying that our job is not as appealing as some others. I believe that is true in the short term, but I like the Fins job long term. Yes, we have issues, but most of them disappear after one year. Cap issues are gone, draft capital is steady, who knows where we will pick and more QB's should be available in the next draft. Now, the positives for the Miami job:Because of our cap issues, QB issues, no top 10 pick, average draft capital, to land Harbaugh I believe Ross will need to:
1. Back up the Brinks truck and out money every owner on the planet.
2. Hire Alexander as the GM.
3. Give him guaranteed money.
4. Maybe even throw in partial ownership.

Most appealing gig by far in the NFL for a 64 year old doing his swan dive 6 years or less to win a SB and move on to football operations… face it folks - South Florida is the center of the universe now… go buy a 19 milllion $ mansion on A1A and hob nob with The Who’s who of the world while out on someone else’s yacht… cultivate South Florida’s over abundance of stellar football talents - bring em home like never before - be part of South Floridas championship cultures - enjoy stone crabs and South Beach and go out on top… New York is yesterday (for now) Cleveland is brutal cold and smellier than Balmore (hard to do really) and he can soon kick his brothers ass in a championship game (AGAIN)…. Miami is the place! Enjoy!!!I've been listening to these radio broadcasts and they keep saying that our job is not as appealing as some others. Cap issues are gone, draft capital is steady, who knows where we will pick and more QB's should be available in the next draft. Now, the positives for the Miami job:
1. Control-I believe Ross will hand him the keys. I don't believe he will have to deal with a GM that will be a power struggle. He should have final say. That is not true in several of these other jobs.
2. Money-Ross is not scared to spend. Maybe he has allowed it to be done recklessly, but it's not the Bengals. We can sign whoever he can fit under the cap in the next several years.
3. Freedom-Ross is not a meddling owner like Jerry Jones. You hardly hear from him. He only shows up when there are problems
4. Attractive to free agents-It's Miami, taxes are better. C'mon, Miami vs Cleveland, etc...
5. It's a clean slate. There is no QB or other star players that he is stuck with. Harbaugh can get rid of anyone he wants and bring in his own "guys" wherever he wants.
Sources or just a guess? They hired Sullivan!
Schefter just tweeted itSources or just a guess?
