Miami Dolphins pay for Booker T. Washington's football championship rings

With all the crap that has been written about the team lately, here is a feel good story.

Booker T. Washington represented Miami exceptionally well in 2013, defeating teams from two other states en route to a Class 4A state title and a No. 1 finish in the Xcellent 25.

Thanks to the generosity of the Miami Dolphins, the team will now have rings to commemorate its historic season.

The Dolphins presented Booker T. Washington with a check for $23,000 to pay for rings, according to the Miami Herald.

Unfortunately probably the only champ rings the Dolphins are buying for a while. At least it's a nice gesture for some good karma.
 
It is nice but the media will not make a big deal about it....they only make a big deal out of the bad stuff.

There is some really good local high school football played in Miami. Along with Booker T. Northwestern and Central H.S. have both been top rated in recent years. Great the Fins recognize this.
