Miami Dolphins center Mike Pouncey rushes the field as the Miami Dolphins host the Tennessee Titans at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016. AL DIAZ adiaz@miamiherald.com

• The Dolphins have played five games. And each one has had a lower local TV rating that the previous one.

Sunday’s Dolphins-Titans game generated just a 12.5 rating, the lowest in memory in South Florida. That means 12.5 percent of all Miami/Fort Lauderdale market homes were tuned in.
But the Dolphins rating eclipsed the 12.4 local rating for UM-FSU on Saturday.
• For Sunday’s game, Pro Football Focus gave its highest Dolphins grades to Jay Ajayi on offense and Donald Butler on defense. PFF noted that Billy Turner and Dallas Thomas combined to give up 13 quarterback hurries. (Turner also allowed three sacks; he was beaten by his man on a fourth, but that was a coverage sack, with no receiver open and Ryan Tannehill holding onto the ball too long).
PFF also says Ryan Tannehill isn’t playing as poorly as it might seem.

We may lose the fins to another city and state the next 10 or so years
You think some other city wants to watch this ****? The Rams ratings in LA are garbage. Nobody likes watching **** football.

Miami is never on The redzone channel...at least not on offense.

I was talking more in general for the NFL. Miami ratings are down because the product has been garbage for close to two decades.

Why watch a garbage product? When you know what the final outcome will be.

Exactly...The gig is up and the NFL is getting the wake up call that has been coming for many years.
Their product is hot garbage...It once was great & entertaining but in 2016...Hot hot garbage. If the NFL was a soft drink, you would spit it out and never grab another one. If it was a meal from a local restaurant , you would leave without paying after the 1st bite. If it was your mechanic, your car would be dismantled when you were called to pick it up.
The PRODUCT is BROKEN...

I find myself indifferent at this point when it comes to the NFL. Yeah, Miami has sucked for way too long and I'm numb to that, but I found myself enjoying other teams and rivalries and storylines that went on. Now the NFL is just kinda background noise to me on Sundays. Screw Monday and especially Thursday night.

You keep losing and fans start to lose interest. The Dolphins haven't been to the playoffs in 8 years, haven't won a playoff game in 16 years, haven't been to a Superbowl in 31 years, and haven't Won a Superbowl in 43 years. Now the team looks to be once again the worst team in the league like they were 9 years ago. So I don't know can you really blame people for not watching?

PFF has always had a boner for Tannehill.

It's Miami. If I lived there I wouldn't waste time watching those assbags play. Go to the beach, do blow off a hot girl's cans, anything other than the BS we see on Sundays.

I can't remember where I heard this but they were talking about the subject of NFL ratings
being down across the board this year.
They said that historically NFL TV ratings are down in Presidential election years.
I find that very interesting.

Lots of media about the subject this season...Just today a few articles out saying its down 11% from a year ago.
No Fun League had better come to grips with the fact "Other" team fans are getting disinterested. By "other" I mean any fan not pulling for GB,NE,Pitt Or Denver
