DAVIE - A few Miami Dolphins veterans graced the rookies with their presence in Wednesday's afternoon practice.

Linebackers Donnie Spragan and Channing Crowder stopped by after a youth clinic earlier in the day. Crowder said he was in the practice bubble to "make sure everyone was working hard." Injured cornerback Andre Goodman also was in attendance.

Rookie running back Lorenzo Booker, not handling punt return duties in the bubble, showed why the Dolphins drafted him during one-on-one passing drills. The former Seminole burned safety Chris Harrell by about 5 yards before the reception and scored a touchdown

Thanks for the info. Its good to see Booker impreessing.

Is there ever a time we read about Crowder and he doesn't make us laugh? Make sure the rookies were working hard lol.

im excited about l. book too, but who the heck is Chris Harrell ?

Crowder is a funny and friendly guy off the field, but on the field.....

Seems like they are intent on getting Toledo on the field no matter what, the part about him lining up with no pads in a cast was funny.

Crowder's a riot and a hard nose player I sat three seats down from His Mom at one of the games last Year She seems to be having just as much fun as Her son and basically has the same style hairdo ..........This year Crowder has to come on huge it's His year to show up ..( AND PLEASE will they coach Him up on tackling low)

Until these rookies get on the field with the BIG BOYS, nobody is impressing

It's great the defense is stepping it up. But for once I'd love to see the offense stealing the show in training camp. I don't think we've seen one of those articles since Marino was playing.

That's a very profound statement...

For ONCE, I am agreeing with Mike O. Nothing really matters untill the whole team is practiceing. I like reading what is going on there, but, it is really just a 'get acquainted' session.

leave it up to Mike O to bring some reality to the fan base . i am glad Mike 0 is on the job . just messing with you mike , i am really excited about our season and i too would love for the offense to steal the show but the RandyMan is in st louis now so i am thinking that it is up to cleo lemon to be the star of the offense. ok , maybe i am thinking of my boy mauia to be the guy to show something.:D
