DAVIE — Ryan Fitzpatrick missed Tuesday’s practice due to an illness, and Dolphins coach Brian Flores said Josh Rosen and Jake Rudock are scheduled to play Thursday at New Orleans, in the final preseason game.

Rosen and Rudock. Who else? I imagine Rosen a couple of drives and Rudock the rest of the game but that's just my guess.

The 4th preseason game the starters usually do not play anyways. We may have some starters start on some positions still in doubt but I doubt that Fitzpatrick would have played much if any. I would guess he might have played a series or two (max). Same for Rosen. No coach wants to risk any potential starter's or qualified backup's health.
The 4th game is all about the 3rd and 4th stringers. The bottom 40 of the roster. Those guys will be playing for their NFL life either with us or other teams.

With the ongoing evaluation and the return of some of the offensive skill players, I would think they may get more snaps with the 1's than they would under normal conditions. It would be nice to see Rosen with Wilson, grant and Parker but they may be eased back in....

Just saw on PFT this AM that Fitz is 2-9 against Brady... for whatever that's worth
