Miami Dolphins...the Official Most Heart-Breaking Team to be a fan of...

Im serious....Miami is the most heart breaking team in ALL professional sports...at least to their fans. The winningist franchise in the last 20 years in all pro sports...and NOTHING to show for it. NO superbowl appearance in 20+ years...NO superbowl win in 30+ years...and tons of good-great teams that just teased...promised...looked...great with tons of winning seasons and playoff births...too What???? break our hearts. take today...
Buffalo comes in 1-3 and cant find a offense if God himself played QB...

Runs right thru us...7-0....Miami 3 and out. Blink....10-0....Blink again 17-0....and in there...are like 3 times Miami holds on 3rd down to ONLY jump offsides...defensive holding...ON A LINEMAN...and god knows what else to keep bills series going and going and going....
15 penalities later...plus a new franchise record...and Miami has our hopes back up....Defense stiffins....even though Buffalo fumbles like 3 times and recovers all of them....and its 17-14.

Now we are driving for winning drive and our poor rookie....trying to win the game basically....is flippin around and fumbles the game away...HEART BREAK.. and of course...all of us can go back during the last 20 years and find games that just wrench the life out of you....Jet Meadowland game jumpin to mind. And is it me...or does that kind of crap seem to just happen to the Dolphins.

I will never change teams....but the older I get....the more I wanna.....I cant even finish that without the Mods jumpin on my case....and the NFL fining me.
Go Dolphins....heartbreak and all......
 
Man, your overreacting, we are a team who is growing. We had a bad game after a good game, and we will have more bad and more good game this year, its expected coming off a 4-12 season and changing everything about the team. Plus, we just lost to a team that lost four Super Bowls in a row just over a decade ago and you want to call Miami the "official" most heart-breaking team ever?

Hey, at least you can put in the tapes and watch the 2 Superbowl wins. What can the Buffalo Bills ever claim to do? Lose 4 in a row!

How bout Chicago Cubs fans? Doesnt get any worse! :cry:

go ahead and pick a season in the last 20 years....and ill give you a heart breaking game...or games...that Miami was in....heres another...2002 playoff at New England...Miami up by 11 with 5:40 ish left to play....lose by 3.
 
We have to take our lumps this year, not like last year, but I agree with you on heartaches...

We have got to do something to stop our dead ball penalties...

true...but i think...i cant put in the "tapes" more like run the projector and watch the games. VCR wasnt invented by 1973....at least I dont think

You act as if every team has won a championship except us in the last twenty years. Calm down. You just like all Dolphin fans are spoiled by winning. Were spoiled by Dan Marino and being competitive more often that not. Have we learned nothing from the 4-12 season. Have you not learned how BAD it could really get?

Amen.

We are one of the most storied franchises in professional sports going through a rare rebuilding season. Comeon man, I'm excited about the year and the future, no reason to overreact like this. I'm going to have to scrounge up the money to be a premium member soon, this board is getting out of hand with crap like this.

im just saying that the last 20 years or so...miami has gotten our hopes up with winning...to just bounce our souls on the sidewalk....hey I have been saying that miami will go 8-8...and thats it...6wins at home 2 on the road...and thats a big improvement from last year. dont you dare say im spoiled....Im a Dolphins Fan...which reels me into what the Dolphins do.....which in the last 20 years is....not much.....close....but not close enough. It just hurts.
