The Dolphins dropped a hard fought game in Houston against the Texans in Week 6. It looked like Miami had it won when Ronnie Brown scored his 7th rushing touchdown of the season with under 2 minutes to play. But after a heartbreaking drive by the Texans, Miami lost 29-28 and dropped to 2-3 on the season. Now, the Dolphins head back to Miami for an unbelievable 5 home games over the next 6 weeks. First up in that stretch is the 2-3 Baltimore Ravens. Can Miami rebound after its last second loss at Houston?

Good luck to all those you bet on this week's VBookie event.

Thanks Nublar. You don't waste any time putting these up do you?
Nope. :hi5: We lost a heartbreaker today, but I am ready to move onto next week. This is a 16 game season, so I can't get upset to much over one game. 5 games down, but still 11 to go. It is a LONG season.

Although I want to bet now, I can't bring myself to bet right now....The loss is still soaked in....If I continue to remember the way we played vs the Texans, It doesn;t look like we'll beat the Ravens...I cant bet against my team....hopefully the loss will wear down and I will place my bets sometime on Wednesday

Yeah I'm going to wait until Saturday night. I want to see what moves we make during the week before I pull any triggers. Ravens are seeking revenge from last year, but they got run over in Indy and I think we are at least as good as Indy.

I'm too emotional to bet on the event as of yet. I agree with Dolfan 72...I'm waiting till Saturday night when the heartbreaking loss to Houston is drowned out by the excitement of waiting the the next game the day following.

Wow, that winning by 21+ points is a great bet. Do I think we'll do it? No. But the chips I would get are amazing. Are these the actual Vegas odds or something? Because if they are, Im betting $50 on it.

And is there any way where you can see your past bets to see how much you won after a game?

The only actual odds that Vegas put out is that the line for the game is Dolphins by 2.5 points. I made up all the other ones.

Also, click this link and it will tell you your past bets:

damn i lost so much on the texans game lmao. I put so much on ginn getting 100 yards catching( got -1! yards), bet ronnie getting 100 yards rushing(HAD 50!), bet miami would win(LOST!), and much more

It's not just a great bet. It's more than 20 times too high. The Las Vegas odds would be something like 18/1.

In the '90s I worked with two very sharp guys and we shredded a prop like that every week. A casino downtown that had a sportsbook hooked to Cal Neva in Reno put up odds like that on the Monday night game every week. After we participated in the Monday morning lotteries around town, betting next week's numbers at bargain rate, my responsibility was to head to the downtown casino strictly to play the highest numbers on the pointspread prop. They would put up 7+, 10+, 14+, 17+, 21+, stuff like that. Inevitably their low numbers were about right but they gave incredible bargains on the high numbers. We would play them for the max. Then two other sharp guys would follow us and play the adjusted numbers, the second pop on the same bet. They were so high even the next number was a bargain. I forget what the high number was, but something like 40/1. Maybe higher early in the season. Then they got the idea and moved it down, closer to 25/1. They never seemed to adjust adequately based on the pointspread of the game or the type of game. A higher scoring favorite obviously should have greater opportunity to win by wide margin.

All we had to hit was one per year, and it worked out much better than that. The sportsbook finally wised up in the middle of the second season and dropped that prop. They had been hammered.

I don't know anything about this V Bookie stuff but that 450/1 number popped my eyes out.

I would have been amazed if we got another gimme like the aqua jerseys last week. When i saw that with 2/1 odds i was drooling. I was thinking it was the higher ups feeling sorry for the guys like me that lost all their credits.

Now that i think about it i am almost sure we wont get another sure thing like that for the rest of the year

Had to put something down on the 21+

I hit most of the big time odds on this one. I figure if even one happens I stil more than break even.
