ORLANDO -- Giants coach Tom Coughlin doesn’t think John Jerry will be suspended.

Joe Philbin has been given no indication that Mike Pouncey will miss any time.
But all that matters is what the NFL thinks. And if the league determines that either Jerry or Pouncey lied to Ted Wells during his investigation into the Dolphins’ workplace environment, they will most likely be in line for some sort of punishment.
When asked Wednesday whether the NFL would take into account the players’ truthfulness when deciding on a suspension, new NFL executive vice president of football operations Troy Vincent replied: “Yes, you have to.”

Juxtaposing the egregious and very public Ray Rice assault - let's see what happens to him.

Yeah... if Pouncey is getting suspended I would expect Ray Rice and Colts pill popping owner to follow.

Dumb enough they want him to see a shrink.

I doubt Pouncey gets suspended. If the NFL hands down a suspension over this, they are setting a new precedent which will be extremely difficult to police. If they suspend Pouncey, they would also have to suspend John Jerry, Jonathan Martin, and Richie Incognito (his previous suspension was from the team, not the NFL), none of which appears likely.

This insane witch hunt continues. The most disruptive person in that locker room was Martina. Where is her mandatory counseling, where is her suspension for the "bullying" she did.

Just seems the NFL is doing everything (and everything extreme) to prevent a lawsuit against them in the event Martin or smoeone on down the road decides to get their panties in a bunch over a grown man's game.

Does a coach yelling at you that you suck constitute bullying? Guess that should be banned as well.

I wish that transition tag wasn't there on Alex Mack, I would offer him a contract, have him on the team especially if Pouncey gets out, and when Pouncey comes back move Pouncey to LG..

Even if Pouncey is to be suspended I would be shocked if it's anything more than 2-3 games. Probably just a money fine if anything.

If Tomlin can run onto the field and disrupt a game winning play that could of caused injury to the player and only get a small fine? Laughable.

Coaches and players now know they can act clueless and interfere with a last second game winning touchdown only to be fined money.

They let the Dog killer still play and they're worried about bulling?.. I wonder if they think this is Ice skating? It's football you buffoons!!!!!!... Go away Goodell..

They also let a people killer play(Ray Lewis) and a Rapistsberger play.

Detroit Lions cornerback Aaron Berry was arrested after he reportedly aimed a handgun at three bystanders.

That was the last straw for the Detroit Lions, who released Berry on Monday, two days after his second arrest of the summer in his off-season home of Harrisburg, PA. He was expected to start this season, his third with the Lions. Training camp for the team's veterans begins Thursday in Allen Park, MI.

Berry was also arrested under suspicion of DUI in June after reportedly hitting two parked cars in his BMW and leaving the scene on foot.

LOL: Berry with 2 felony arrests including aiming a gun at 3 bystanders and DUI, vehicular destruction and leaving the scene of the crime, although now an unsigned FA was actually signed by the jest to a 2 year contract soon after being released by the disgusted Lions. To the best of my knowledge there were no suspensions, penalties nor psychological evaluations on which that signing was predicated.
