Miami Dolphins = Welcoming Commitee for Suspended Players

I posted this a while back when they announced Calvin Pace's suspension:

Marshawn Lynch suspended....able to return week 4 against Miami

Calvin Pace suspended....able to return week 5 against Miami

Patriots play both these teams while these players are suspended. A conspiracy theorist might say this is more than a coincidence.....but luckily we don't have any of those around here.

Now word is that New Orleans Saints starting defensive ends Charles Grant and Will Smith will be suspended 4 games starting week 2.

They will be eligible to return week 6 (they have a week 4 bye)agianst.....you guessed it....the Miami Dolphins. They will play both the Jets and Bills with both players suspended.

In a year in which we already had a hard schedule....we really can't catch a break.

We have a tough schedule because we've earned it. Some may think it a detractor.. but I'd like to think it's the ultimate compliment. We're one of the big boys now, playing a big boy schedule. After watching the Steelers last night I ain't so scared.

To be the best you gotta beat the best.. and I only want to be the best with their best on the field.

I'd rather not catch any breaks.....I want us to be as good as advertised.

Whats the point of beating a team without a player, only to get beaten by the same team with that player in the post season.

We didn't earn a difficult schedule.....only 2 of our 16 games are determined by how we did last year...the rest is all pre-determined.

Last year our 'reward' for sucking was games against Baltimore (11-5 playoff team, L) and Houston (8-8 team, L). We got to play crappy teams like KC, Oak, Seattle, St. Louis...just because it was our turn.

Now we have to play tough teams like Indy, Tennessee, Carolina, Atlanta, New Orleans....just because it's our turn.

The thing about the suspensions is interesting to me.....not much more to it, but I would have considered us lucky to draw some of those games while those players were still out.....but apparently it wasn't meant to be.

If I could choose to win against a team at full strength, or win against them with players out....of course I'd choose full strength....but you odn't get to choose.

Every game is tough and we could use any break we can get, whether it's players being out due to suspension or a close call that goes our way during the game. I root for anything that will give us a better chance to win.

Agreed. After we beat those teams anyways, they can't say "well, so-and-so wasn't in the game, that's why the Fins won"

The Dolphins were the 4th best team in the NFL last year for the least amount of drops.

Dropped footballs has not been our issue.

Exactly a lot of people are not sold on miami because they really didnt address the wr corp and the oline is way overrated. ( this isnt my opinion per sae just a view as how others see us.

who cares what they say after we beat them.....as long as we beat them. Starters not being in the game gives you a better chance to do that.

This is how I look at it aswell, these guys will not be game ready and potential is there for tweaked injuries (not that I'm rooting for that).
