"When Damien and I talk about it, he said that he would have outran the guy anyways," Stills said. "Coach was always on me about hustling backside and making the key block to spring a big run. That's a huge game for us, a rivalry game... for me to go out there and get involved was something I was looking to do."

So how did the Dolphins get Williams as an UDFA?

Williams went undrafted in the 2014 NFL Draft after being kicked off the Oklahoma Sooners football team halfway through the 2013 season for violating team rules on multiple occasions, but Williams' draft stock, or lack thereof, is no indication of his talent.

In the 22 collegiate games that Williams played in, he tallied 19 total touchdowns (18 rushing, one receiving) and averaged 5.2 yards per carry. Williams also caught 410 yards worth of passes at Oklahoma (most of it coming in his junior season) and, while seldomly being used in this area, proved himself to be a receiving threat out of the backfield.

Williams is a quick, shifty running back who can run past, and run over, defenders with a strong build at 5'11", 222 pounds. Williams has good vision, which is key for backs in the zone-blocking scheme, and plays with a great passion for the game.

Ridiculous speed. Stills is just trotting along, and just flips a switch, turning into the road runner, and lands a monster hit. As the game time is moving from 4:18 to 4:17, Stills runs at least 10 yards to make the block. Sick!

Stills is a baller. A true football player. The acquisition of him has flown way under the national radar and kinda makes a mockery of the 'national radar'. I yearned for him when watching Saints games on a number of occasions. I'd hate to see him not get a good glut of chances to make plays. I would play 3 wide on every play and plenty of 4-wide once Parker is back to 100%. I think with his athleticism and desire he can correct much of what ailed the Tannehill-Wallace combo.
