Don't get me wrong, I ecstatic with what Miami was able to accomplish this year. I just remember that some people were upset when the schedule came out because it was supposedly the toughest in the league. Well, it ended up being the 4th easiest (.457). I'm just trying to make a point to some of the fans on these boards that get all depressed when the "strength of schedule" is released. Hopefully, this will help them realize how truely meaningless it is. Now that the Jets & Bills stunk up the joint :D , we'll see that next year Miami will have one the "easiest" schedules.

Well the schedule toughness is based on the last years acomplishments. Heck look at next year we still have the pats, and Indy to deal with.

and Pittsburg at the ketchup and the Bears at their house too.

As of right now, I can't imagine anyone's schedule being tougher than ours NEXT year

I don't think the schedule matters to Saban and thats the beauty of this 6 game win streak. He tells the team don't look at who we play when and where. Just play each play one at a time. His philosophy is to win each play not each game, and if you lose a play line up and win the next play. By breaking things down to one play at a time it's gives each player 50 chances to win a game and not just one chance to win. It's smart coaching it frees up thier mind and eases the pressure they face at the NFL level. Saban will have this team in the playoffs next year with a chance to make some noise.

Early prediction is 11-5.
They will probably win 7 of 8 home games (Pats possibly the only loss)
and 4-4 on the road.
Ws-Jets, Bills, Texans, Lions
Ls-Steelers, Bears, Colts, Pats.
At the worst, a wild card

strength of schedule is an over rated stat. No matter how good or bad a team in the AFC East is, they always seem to play Miami very tough as we do to them when we are bad. It's a rivalry thing and tough losses can always result from that hatred. I look opptomistic to a Dolphin team next year. Hopefully playoff bound, we again could very well lose games to the Jets and Bills who may be bad but will always play us tough.
