The Heat have their first exibition game today against the Spurs, it will be on Sunsports at 7:30 for those in the south florida area. Should be a good one, we'll get our first look at the new team and, being a preseason game, we should get a good look at the depth of our bench. Thoughts?

good win a sign of what's gonna happen in the future

There was actually good basketball being played...

SA dominated the first half.....(starters versus starters)...and the third quarter with the starters still in...the Heat went on an insane run to take the lead....

When garbage time came....the Heat had a 3 point lead...and the Heat scrubs with Toine versus the Spurs scrubs with Finley....brought it home....

Very impressive debut by Toine.....

Jason Williams was TOO UNSELFISH....he needs to shoot more so our offense has a flow...he was looking to set everybody else up when he could have driven on Parker....

Kapono looks like he will be good for what we need.....

Antoine looked great, I was especially impressed with his D, he slapped like 4-5 balls away from Duncan. Looks like 6th man of the year material. I agree about JWill playing too unselfish, he needs to take a shot once in a while, I'm sure that will come once he gets a little more settled with his teammates. Some of the guys I thought would be camp fodder impressed me as well, it's gonna be hard to trim this roster down to 15. Thats a good problem to have though.

I didn't get to see any of the game so I was just wondering how Posey looked and what people thought of the Glove as our backup. He's way past his prime, so I'm wondering how he looked in a game, even if it was only an exhibition for charity.

Posey looked alright, you can tell he's still got a little bit of conditioning to go through before he becomes the lockdown swingman we've been hoping he'd become.

Gary is Gary. He could probably still start for a lot of teams in the NBA, and his D is amazing as always. He should be a great mentor for JWill.
