i see quite a bit of improvement overall in ryan himself.

if by some miracle the blocking continues to improve and we find a running a game somewhere, a few more games in this offense and he'll get to the next level consistently.

The funny thing is that the Dolphins have absolutely zero running game. Its literally Tannenhill doing all the work. Look at even the Saints and Falcons, they have more of a running game.

Posters seem to not understand the idea that to have a successful passing game, a good running game is apart of it too.

the tannehill detractors i see feel that is something he should be able to overcome on a regular basis (all game, every game).

Dude what are you talking about? Tied for the team lead in rushing touchdowns? Tannehill. Leading rusher on the team? Tannehill. Best average per carry on the team? Tannehill.

We've got a running game...it's Tannehill.

The 30% conversion rate on 3rd down isn't getting it done. Same as it was last year. You just don't have much of a chance when your offense is that bad at staying on the field. Wears out your defense, limits your scoring chances.

Yeah much better.

The pertinent term here is "miracle". Our O-Line shifting, benching, and injuries isn't helping. I can't see any magic pill that will make us improve. With our lack of running game and poor run defense on the other side, it's difficult to see us winning many more games this season as we'll continue to lose out on time-of-possession which will lead to a tired defense and injuries and frustration will follow. Gase is an offense-guy. He has no clue about defense. Vance Joseph is learning on the job. This is really starting to remind me of the Cam Cameron debacle.

You're exactly right. We need our run blocking to gel and one of these backs to step up and take the job. Sick of the 4 man rotation already.

helps sell pa and your ability to take vertical shots helps sell boot legs etc...if the backside edge or lb doesn't give a hoot about flowing down inside and taking away the run off the strong side action your screwed and if the guys on the los your qb will be running for his life with pursuit on his heels

Take a look at the Seahawks the first 2 weeks. Zero running game and their offense sputtered.

Last week their run game broke out and in turn their offense scored consistently.
