Miami Hurricane’s vs Notre Dame

a 180 from the end of last year!
It sure was. I hope this season we get better every game. While heroic and lots of fun last year, those big comebacks I bet took time off my life. Cam heroics.
I want a steady ship with as minimal close games as possible.
I like beatdowns Beatdowns from the first play to the last. **** those “good game” comments. I don’t care about good games. I only care about beating the opponent handily and have game in total control at halftime.

I absolutely can’t stand that I have to cheer for Carson Beck. I’m in atlanta and have watched far too many of his games.

He is some combination of an extremely hot and cold QB, and coaches don’t trust him completely.

The lulls in his game are hard to reconcile.

The play calling needs to be fine tuned as it was the first game. Need to do a better job of clock management as well brother. They got the win, but it didn't need to finish that close as it did. They will get better going forward. :ffic:
you're right about the clock management

The way that ND came back from 14 points down is alarming.
Glad for the win but the Canes are going to have to scrap for wins. This team does not look dominant
Well, it’s not like ND is some powder puff school… they were bound to make some plays. Especially with the refs helping there at the end.

Mario does need to go for the kill though instead of just going conservative.

Had we kept the pedal to the metal like we did in the first half, we might have won by 14 or more points.
Mario plays to not lose. That is why ND was able to make it a close game.
Had they kept the killer instinct for 4 quarters would have made a very big difference. I'm not sure who was calling the plays, but that is where we need work.

That Toney kid looks like a future two way go slot in the pros. And he might be a pretty darn good one. Pretty nuanced route runner for his experience level.

Cristobal, Dawson, and Beck are all trash.

Mario is an awful game day coach. Dawson is a horrible play caller. And Beck just sucks.
25 seconds left in the 4th with a timeout left and Mario takes a knee. He didn't even try to win the game. He was happy with OT. Who the fùck does that?
