If you could have one of the Miami Hurricanes that are in this years draft to put on the Dolphins which one do you pick? Dont worry about which round, just which one helps us the most and why. It may seem obvious to a few of you but I think that a compelling case could be made for any of them.

and btw, im not a hurricanes fan but an ODU Monarchs fan. Miami just has a lot of interesting players this year

Tough to choose between Phillip Dorsett & Clive Walford. We need both.

Gun to my head I guess I go Dorsett.

After that, Ereck Flowers, Denzel Perryman, Duke Johnson.

This is the best draft class to come out of UM in a long time. I think Walford is going to be the most exceptional player of the group. I think people are still underrating him and he will be a top 5 TE in the NFL. And he can do it all. I'd love if we draft him, but he's not at a position that is the greatest need for the 2015 Fins. Perryman or Flowers are the two players that would help us the most. Flowers would completely solidify the line IMHO. And I think he's a darkhorse pick for us at 14. If Albert isn't ready to go Flowers locks down RT, and if Albert is healthy Flowers would be a starting guard and a very good one. Perryman would be a near perfect fit at MLB with Suh in front of him. Only his coverage skills are questionable to me, and IMHO they aren't bad. Just pedestrian.

Pretty easy decision for me, Flowers all day.

I've soured a lot of Perryman the more I watch. I really liked him at one point, but now I see a guy who probably is a much better college player than he will be in the NFL.

Dorsett is no T.Y. Hilton, although I won't call him a bust either.

Duke is fun, but kind of reminds me of Kadeem Carey who I didn't like at all. But I do think Duke is a better player.

I haven't watched enough of Clive tbh, but I think he gets over drafted.

It would be Perriman for me, his attitude would go perfectly with Suh and he would help form an outstanding run defense.

I also really like Dorsett and Walford but I don't think we will be looking for them at the time they will be drafted. Shame too because both will be really good players in this league.

I think Flowers is the guy I'd want first. After that Dorsett, Perryman, Walford in that order. Not listed by talent, because I like Walford a lot, but we have other needs than TE.

Regardless of being a 2 down LB, I really like Perryman. 3 down LBs are rare. Get me to 3rd down and we'll figure it out from there. He'll be solid IMO.

Perryman. Give me Trae Waynes in the first and Denzel Perryman in the second and we've went a long way to shoring up this defense. Like the poster said above, Perryman and Suh would help form a fantastic run defense and given the fact that the Bills and Jets currently have no one to throw the ball, that will be important. Waynes and Grimes would also give us a fantastic duo on the outside. Then go out and get a guard in the third, a FA G and a FA WR. That would be a fantastic draft and would fill up alot of our holes with great talent.

I really would not mind any of the 5 guys JCane listed assuming they are drafted in the appropriate round.

Flowers looks to be the only one with a shot at being a late 1st.The rest in the 2-4 round range.

Duke probably makes the least sense as he is too similar to Lamar Miller but I think he is going to be a solid Pro.

The Fins may be looking for big WR's so Dorsett may not be a great fit but I do see him being a poor man's T.Y. Hilton at least.

Perryman may only be a 2 down ILB but that does not mean he would not really help Miami's run D.

TE is probably pretty low on the list but Walford has potential to be a nice pass catching TE who could compliment a bigger run blocking guy like Sims.

It's not that easy anymore, teams will just go right into a no huddle and expose those 2 down linebackers all day.

And honestly, he's not that good of a 2 down back anyway. Guys gets lost a lot.

:ponder: Excellent point.

Chickillo would be my dark horse, but my pick would come down to one of either Perryman or Dorsett. Can't take both because they're both said to go around the same time late first early second round. I'd take Perryman though. Too much value @47 to pass up. Besides, Dorsett may have already sealed his fate in the late first with that pro day performance..

Not complicated. Give me Duke Johnson. He was rated highest among this group entering college and had the most immediate impact, starring in his freshman opener at Boston College.

Duke has special traits, far beyond Lamar Miller. Suddenly those gaps turn into touchdowns, not frustrating near misses.

Playmakers rule in the NFL these days. You have to continue to prioritize them, those cheap points, instead of rationalizing that marginal upgrades here and there are the ticket.

If Tannehill is to thrive he needs all the cheap point options he can get.

* The danger with Walford is that he's already what he will be. As I've emphasized, he's improved markedly every season. That's vastly different than the recent underachieving trend among Canes products

* Flowers is a tough guy with a lousy body and some poor fundamentals. Might take a while for him but I think he'll succeed. Nasty disposition.

* Dorsett is an intriguing guy as long as you realize he'll be nullified in certain games for long stretches. He's going to flash but more often than not it will be against terrorized defenses

* Perryman needs to lose weight. He fits the old NFL more than the current version
