witherspoon, peterson or LaVar top my list, any off the 3 would really give us a stud lb corps

i like greenaway if avail but unless justice is still hanging around we should go secondary with top 2 picks

or magginest all kinds of options, hope this cba gets reached giving phins some room to sign some guys

If we are able to sign One of the three you mentioned....we can take a LB in the later rounds and focus primarily on the secondary on draft day. If I had to choose one I would love witherspoon...Because he seems more disiplined and he is younger....Lavar seems like a loose cannon, and peterson seems injury-prone and tooo expensive.

You got is just right there. Will would be the best fit for the type of player Saban is looking for. He would be a great addition to Zach and Crowder.

There are 3 OLB's that we could take at 16....Greenway, Carpenter or Lawson or we could get one in free agency...a lot will depend on whether they get the new deal done.

Ozzy rules!!

Lawson wouldbe a good fit,I dont think we can afford to get a FA LB

Ayodele for Inside Linebacker next to Zach.

Ayodele is an outside linebacker, and would probabaly be a pretty good fit there for Miami. What are you proposing we do with Channing Crowder?

Also, Will Witherspoon is *NOT* a good fit at all for the Dolphins. He's lighter and taller built then Zach Thomas, who has the benefit of the 2-gap side of our defense. He's too small, and his skills are not taking on blockers, which is what he would have to do at Strongside OLB or Weakside ILB.

I don't see Miami spending it's free agent money on a linebacker, but I think there's a good chance that Saban gets one high in the draft. Greenway is a slim possibility at #16, but Carpenter and Lawson should both be there. Lawson would seem like the perfect fit, as he is similar to JT and a potential difference-maker. Carpenter is very solid all-around. It's a good draft for linebackers so I believe Saban will take one high.
