miller is a backup running back, cut or trade J MART! need at least 4 players away to be elite again imo RT LG DT CB FS WR

Miller can be a very good one. However, the staff needs to be committed to the run and have linemen that actually can execute what is being called.

Miller runs hard, but he needs a hole to run through. He will not run over anyone on the D-line, or make his own hole. I would keep him but look for a better replacement for Daniels. We need that bruising type of back and Daniels is inconsistent. Although that could be O-line related too .... we have so many problems to fix. If we could solidify the O-line, I would accept keeping our two backs. But the line would really have to improve.

Lets be realistic. Miller is good enough to get the job done. Far from elite, but good enough. Can't think of many RB's outside of AP and McCoy that can create at the elite level.

Thomas is a bust in my eyes. Guy can't keep it together or perform at a consistent level. Could def. see us taking a RB in the 4th round or so. No way we take one of the top draft RB's due to OL issues.

Watch for us to draft OT in the first and OG in the second. I know everyone is going ape **** for Ebron but we need a O line, and chances are he is gone by the 19th pick.

You think we're only 4 players away from being elite??

Hmm maybe if those 4 players were Tom Brady, Jamaal Charles, Joe Thomas & Patrick Willis.

Where is the roster move to bring in a veteran RB to help Miller develop and learn the game? Total miss.

OP, go back and check out Lamar Miller. When you have finished, please return and delete this thread.

Miller can break away from the pack but he can't break a tackle. He could be a good complimentary back if we had that bruiser we are sorely lacking. Blount is a perfect example of a guy we could of had that would've helped us a lot this year.

We dont need elite everything. What we need is better position coaching. Miller is the only back on the roster with elite anything (speed). As far as vision, blocking and ability to break tackles average at best. I would have like to seen what Hillis had left in the tank last season.

Miami needs to SERIOUSLY address the O-line. We need an LT, LG, RG, and RT.

Behind an average line (which we are not at this time), Miller would be a very good change of pace back. I don't trust him as an every down back because he can't pass protect or pick up the tough yards. We need the type runner I like to call a "banger." One he can run between the tackles and move the pile, one who can create yards after contact.

After addressing the O-line, if the Dolphins due their due diligence on this guy, I would love for them to sign LeGarette Blount. Blount and Miller would make a great 1-2 punch.

I think Miller was under used in the passing attack also. No wheel routes, very few screens, etc.

Miller is not that good.

The long run where he fumbled the ball on the way to the touchdown sealed it for me. No way a solid back with sound skills does that. Yes we need online, but Miller just isn't that good.
