Miami picks at # 14 in the draft..........

either trade up for cooper or stay and get someone like Eddie Goldman

Is he as good as say........Martin was last year that went to the Cowboys? He was a big reason for Tony ****'s success this season. That's exactly what Tannehill needs. Also , Does Hickey grab a center and keep pouncey at Guard or do we draft a Tackle and a guard?
 
no way pouncy stays at guard. he is god awful there. the way he has been playing scares the crap out of me moving forward. we need to sure up interior lineman on both sides. I think attack the guard postion in FA and d in the draft, maybe some FA's. but someone like goldman would make a huge impact. and with all of the Wallace crap trade him in a trade up for cooper and just eat the cap hit for a year for a kid that is a lot better.
 
As much as we need people on D I agree get a big red zone threat with the 14th pick. All year we were lacking that big target. Most trips in the red zone and little to show for it on a whole.
 
I want to think ahead to the draft, but I can't stop mourning the death of 2014 playoff hopes.
 
With the 14th pick we should go with a big bodied wr or TE, if neither is available if with Melvin Gordon, if he's not available then best option at guard
 
This is a progression offense (we don't need Cooper), while I agree that we need a redzone threat; the obvious and glaring need is o-line. Tanne has been sacked over 100 times in the last 2 years, that is insane! We need to keep Tanne upright first and foremost. It is not sexy spending number ones on linemen, but you see what it has done for Dallas. Taking a pick like Cooper does nothing if you can't protect your QB. Our O-line is horrible!

In theory, you have 3 key positions filled with LT/RT/OC. You have a guy you probably are going to play in Billy Turner, who looked pretty solid yesterday. You aren't going to get a prime time redzone threat in free agency . . . however you can find a solid Guard in FA. Get your skill guy in the draft . . . drafting a guard that early isn't how to get it done.
 
GB have a great oline and only 1 high pick. The other 4 staters were drafted 4th round or lower. Please get a real playmaker at WR or LB or even a DT but not another olineman.
 
I like a play-maker in the middle of the D with #14 MLB or ball hawking safety - and linemen after that (O and D)
