Whoever is on the forums now please put on NFL network. Just watched Miami beat the skins and now playing minny in super bowl. Hopefully we will be back there soon.

Griese & Strock...lol...i actually remember watching them as a toddler.

Great win for the Dolphins. Bob Griese and the offense frustrated Page and the 'Purple People Eaters.'

I was 9 and 10 for Miami"s 2 super bowl wins. I remember watching us beat skins but not the Vikings. Who knows what I was doing during the game.

The '72 team went undefeated but the '73 Dolphins were the better team and it showed in the Super Bowl against the Vikings.

I'm pretty sure the game you're referrig to was 75 or 76. I cried like a baby when I saw stabler beat us with tthat td throw while getting sacked with 40 seconds left. Great game but it took me a long time to get over that loss.

yup, that was the one....from that day on i was a Dolphins fan.

That's the "sea of hands" game from 1974. Worst Dolphins loss (other than Super Bowl losses) in Dolphins history. It was the last game for Larry Csonka, Paul Warfield, and Jim Kiick. Also the last time the Dolphins were referred to as "defending world champions."
