If only Burrow would come with him. Seriously though only flourished at LSU because of Chase and Jefferson. We really don't have a 1 and Waddle is more of a 2 b. Need WR who can separate to allow Marshall to go underneath.

Separation is one of Waddle's best traits.

I really liked him coming out of college. WRs are so damn difficult to scout - I like this signing.
Who knows if he'll do **** but he's got talent waiting to be unlocked. Curious if we can get something out of him.

With the exception of his 10-yd split, his athletic testing was very good and well above average. A 4.4 and 39" vertical are both 85th percentile for Wr and higher than that for a 6-2.5 205 lb WR. His broad jump and bench reps were also very good.

Tall straight-line guy... a lot of X receivers fit that profile. It's a bit limiting but not disqualifying... but it may be why he hasn't popped.

I don't know if is his explosiveness is effected by some past leg injuries or his long stride. He did have a knee scope in January prior to the combine. Really like the pick up regardless. Chase had 1.59 10 yard split which doesn't correlate to a 4.34 40 for what it's worth. I think Carolina said they decided to cut him because he wasn't a special team ace.

Following the draft as closely as I do. IMHO this signing of Terrence Marshall Jr. could be a sneaky good signing, especially with Miami lacking depth and taller players at the position.

Michael Irvin's sucked too. Difference Irvin wanted that ball and was tough as hell. These are things this kid could learn, if he really wants it.
