OK Boys and girls... I have 13 tickets for the Miami/Steelers Game... IN HAND!!! The plan is to auction them off in a raffle. All tickets are in the same section! For more info on the seats and their location, visit http://www.finheaven.com/boardvb2/showthread.php?t=137262

This thread has the view from the seats and other info. I will secure a parking lot for the tailgate and entry into this lot is included in the raffle... Now the tickets have a face value of $62.00. I paid much more for them, however, I am offering them as a pair for each raffle ticket. $25.00 will buy you an entry for a pair of these seats!

Search E-Bay and all the ticket sites! You WILL NOT FIND these tickets at a price less than $350.00 per ticket! You can get a pair for only $25.00!!! As stated above, all these tickets are in the same section and that only enhances the experience by cheering with the your fellow FINFANS!!!

If you are interested in participating in this raffle, please PM or e-mail me at kmcgaffic@msn.com. I plan to hold the lottery beginning Monday, July 24, 2006 at 8:00am through Wednesday, July 26, 2006 til 6:00pm. These times are Eastern Standard Time (EST).

I do want to let you know that this is a legit effort and I will have someone(s) from the FinHeaven site doing the drawing on the raffle tickets... I am in the D.C. Area so I will be dilligent about getting a couple of guys in this area to monitor the drawings. Once they are identified, I will announce their participation. This will also dictate the date of the drawing, but I do not see that being later than the 29th of July...

In addition... Since there is 13 tickets, and the drawing is for pairs, 12 tickets will be what is raffled and the 13th ticket will bid on by the 6 people that won the raffle. The 13th ticket will go to the highest bidder...

Given that, I am now requesting FINFANS in the D.C. area to monitor this drawing... IF you are in this area, please let me know and we can organize a gathering for the drawing. The first and second round of drinks are on me!

I have an account with PayPal that accepts all methods of payment. I will post this address/account ONLY after I know that there are people interested in participation. I tried to get this going in April and May and had only a dozen respond...

Skip... You are right... The game is pretty much sold out. The only way to get these tickets, other than this raffle, is to buy them on E-Bay or a ticket sales site. You will spend anywhere from $500.00 for a pair to $1500.00 a pair, depending on the seats. I purchased these seats because they were all in the same section and are very good seats. I paid $380.00 per seat. However, if I can get close to 200 raffle tickets sold, I can sell them for $25.00 a pair and cover my costs with the extra being donated to Finheaven.

If I can't get a committed parcipation at $25.00, I will try at $50.00 per raffle ticket and that will allow me to drop the participation to about a 100 tickets sold. This will also increase the odds of the participants actually winning the seats. 6 out of 100 chances.

If I can not get a commitment for participation in this chance, I will offer them as up out here for sale at cost and will probably get rid of those not sold on E-Bay.

I find it hard to believe that people will not take a chance to get a pair of tickets, to a game that is sold out and expensive to get tickets to...:confused:

I currently have a commitment of 6 people...
 
im about 30 minutes from DC, i worked at the Fair Oaks GP, im close enouhg if you still need help
 
Wish I could see the game in person but I will be watching it at my favorite sports bar. :tongue:
 
I'd like to get in. I emailed you yesterday and just need some specifics on how to go about entering. (i.e. not very computer savy am I)
 
FINintheMOON- i am willing to pay up to 3 times the face value for 2 tickets, if you cant get this raffle idea rolling get back to me, i would be extremly interested!! thanks
 
For all of you Miami fans heading up to Pittsburgh, good luck.

Those fans get pretty nasty when they're drunk, with is 80% of the stadium.

Just ignore them, and you'll have a pretty good time.

Retaliate, and you'll have a miserable time.

But have fun anyway.

THe entry is very simple... I will post a link that will accept ALL methods of payment for the raffle... However, there must be a enough interest in the raffle for me to cover my costs before the raffle, and my link, happens. I can go at a bare minimum of 200 tickets at $25.00 or 100 tickets at $50.00...

Got your e-mail and you are on the list... However, I have only had 16 people respond so far for this raffle... Unless there is more interest, I will have to modify the raffle or sell them out right!
