I'm sure we are all excited about the teams most recent performance. It looks as though it comes at a very important time as well. After last week's national game, the Dolphins will again be in a marquee Sunday afternoon tilt before playing in Primetime against the Bills the following Thursday. The next week will see them face of with Denver which I'm sure has potential for national carrying. Then after that, the nation will then see us in Primetime against the JETS on MNF. I hope we're ready for our close-up.

If we manage to steal a win in Detroit on Sunday , I think the rice paddy workers in Vietnam will take notice of us. Seriously though I haven't been too worried about this weeks game as far as the outcome goes. But, as the game nears I feel this is the chance for the Dolphins to take it to another level. A win would be a huge confidence booster for the team and I really don't believe there is any way we lose to the Bills barring major injuries. Climbing to 7-3 would put the league on notice that we are legitimate contenders and it would maybe make that Denver matchup the game of the year in the NFL up to that point.

I think Cleveland may be the bigger story in the NFL right now which is perfectly fine with me.

Next 4 games will tell the tale of the Dolphins on a national spotlight. Just imagine if we steal one out of Detroit, take care of business Thursday against Buffalo, upset the Broncos with intense pressure on Manning, and head into Monday Night against the poor Jets 8-3. We'd be top three in the NFL.

Now as Dolphin fans you'd have to be blind to the last 13 years not to expect the opposite of the above scenario. But there's no harm in hoping.

They just have to beat the bills and sweep the jests,

let the shrapnel fall where it falls on those other games.

The Lions are an NFC team anyway, but I fully expect them to pull it out.

Stafford has been known to throw a few picks in the past
