Hey, was hoping for a little insight with some people here who may have done this before.

My father and I ordered tickets for the Monday night game September 21st through stub hub during the last week of July. The seller confirmed the order, however the seller had not received tickets as of then and would ship them when he/she received them.

We still have not received the tickets... Is this normal for it to take this long. I am mainly concerned because we live in Morgantown WV and have to make flight/hotel reservations very soon, and the confirmation email we received listed a late as possible ship date of 9/17 which would put the tickets arriving at our house in Morgantown 9/21. Obviously too late for us to be able to use them.

I called stubhub and they assured me the tickets would arrive before then, the seller was one of their most reliable, blah blah blah.

Do I have legitimate cause for concern? Have other people that have ordered tickets for this or other games already received them?

Thanks for your help

The only time I had an issue like the one you speak of was during the 2007 game with the Ravens (our single win, I'm sure you remember :-) Anyways, I bought two third row tickets on the Dolphins sideline for $40 each, and the seller told me they would have them to me by the Friday before the game. I had to leave first thing Saturday morning to go to Miami, so if they didn't come through I was screwed...well long story short I waited around all day and no tickets. So Late in the day on Friday I call Stubhub, livid at this point since I've already booked a hotel and they told me to call UPS, so I do and they tell me they'll have them to me on Monday...now I'm even more mad. So I call Stubhub back and go through all their "let me get my supervisor" bs like 5 times, but the eventual outcome was since they have a guarantee and I wasn't going to get the tickets in time, they sent me to their Opa Locka pick up office in a hotel (which is very close to the stadium) and gave me two 2nd row tickets in the same area.

So to answer your question if they don't get them to you in time I believe they will try and get you something comparable to what they didn't come through on. Although that may be slightly harder for them to do with the game you are going to since it will likely be a sellout.

Tickets

Its a shame that each of you had to go through all of that..

I feel like they are just scalpers on the internet...You should be able to buy the tickets direct from the teams more often...Rather than having to get screwed on the ticket prices...

I had this same problem tho with another place...forgot the name..

Was not stub hubb tho...I bought my tickets and never got them..

I kept calling and they said they would get back to me finally..I was just like hey where are the tickets...they ended up selling them to someone else...Like wow ...how did they do that...It was the same year that miami went 1 and 15...so would have been a lame game in buffalo anyhow...

But they ended up just giving me my money back so it ended up working out...

I'm kinda in the same boat. I am in California and have already booked my flight, hotel, rental car etc. for the 10/4 Bills game and the Jets game on 10/12. I got confirmation immediately on the Jets game tickets and received them a few weeks ago. The whole transaction took less than a week. On the other hand it took about a week just to get confirmation on the Bills game and they have a estimated ship date of 9/27. I fly out on 10/2. I emailed them and they said the seller has not yet received the tickets to ship but assured me they would be there on time and if not I was protected by their guarantee. Not sure what the delay would be as season ticket holders should already have their tickets in hand. Let's hope it works out for both of us!

Yea, no doubt. The stub hub rep I called said that I could call back in the first week of September if I still haven't received the tickets and they would contact the seller on my behalf and see what was up. I'm very concerned about this as my father and I are life long Miami fans and neither of us have been to a game before.

That and the tickets were 150 each, so if we get screwed its gonna suck ***.

Anybody else have good experiences with stubhub?

Tickets should be here by now, as season tickets arrived weeks ago, and the extra individual tickets I ordered arrived like a week or two ago as well.

But as everyone said, book your flight and hotel as if there's any problem with tickets not arriving on time, they will get you similar tickets. That's what's good about StubHub. They are expensive, but there's a guarantee

Hey, thanks for your help guys. Stubhub literally just emailed me 2 minutes ago with shipping confirmation. Dr.dolphin hope it works out for you too!

I bought my tickets for that game on stub hub at the end of july and had them within 3 days. On the original confirmation email I recieved from stub hub, it said the tickets were scheduled to arrive on the 18th of september. I was worried and was going to call and find out why it was taking so long since season tix were supposed to sent out to the season ticket holders in August I think. Luckily, I received them 3 days later. Thats wierd. Why wouldn't the seller have the tickets already? Hope it works out
