Sunday
Partial cloudiness early, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. High 84F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 40%.

Humidity
73%

If this forecast holds it should be an advantage for Miami as they are used to this.

Plus Brady's loss of his big safety blanket (Gronk) it will now take him longer to read the field allowing the pass rush to get to him.

Precious gets sacked 4 times and Miami wins 24-17.

Gronkowski out is the biggest advantage. The pats might enjoy a break from the frigid weather they have been experiencing.

Don't see the weather really affecting the Pats. Gronk being out definitely will.

The body's ability to take in oxygen is optimal between 45-55 degrees. The air is more dense without it being too cold. As temps rise the amount of oxygen in the same amount of volume of air is less, thus leading to players not performing optimally. So sometimes while it might feel good to the skin, it might not be doing the body any help especially if you aren't used to it.

Yes, it'll help us physically somewhat, but I wouldn't go betting money on this alone.

What about the thunderstorms though? I would think this might favor Miami somewhat.

Maybe the sweat will run into Brady's eyes and burn a little .... causing him to throw 4 picks

Sweat or tears...

We don't practice in thunderstorms down here. We go into the bubble.

I don't expect it to rain, and if it does it will be a passing shower. It just doesn't rain much from December to March in South Florida.

Have you seen the amount of time Brady has had to throw? Don't think Gronk will effect him taking longer...he takes nearly 5 seconds now cause he can.

I want beautiful sunny skies and 84! I'm flying down from frozen Nh for this game, and I want some warm sun damn it!

He certainly does seem to have a lot of time to throw but I think Miami's pass rush changes that this week.

Not that it means that much but Miami does have more of an incentive as they are playing for a playoff spot whereas the Patriots are playing for home field advantage.

How is having beautiful warm weather an advantage? It's not summer time, you don't have the awful pounding sun and brutal humidity to contend with. Miami is absolutely gorgeous in December. Patriots will probably feel like they're on vacation.
