Parcells is all about changing guys lives on and off the field...Ricky can mentor Percy help him run routes plus work on quitting the weed

Percy Harvin to me can be used in more ways than one. Parcells loves guys who can do more than just play one role..Percy can be a go to guy on Offense and would be a upgrade over bess and ginn on special teams...cobbs too... I mean everyone is thinking Miami wants a big wideout size wise and hands wise....Percy is just like ginn but bigger, also...miami has 2 big wrs already with london and wilford...what makes you think miami wont draft him...this guy or maybe nicks have the potential to be big play guys, id rather a weed head tho than someone who shows up 14 lbs heavier for his pro day in Nicks...Guys doesnt seem like a hard worker....now if we dont get Harvin we must get Robiske.

with our 2nd pick in round 2....then maybe.
Assuming we drafted a CB and LB with 1 and 2 A

Bill has shown a tolerance for guys that have talent and also a drug problem i.e. Lawrence Taylor. But as mentioned before, not till the second.

One of the greatest LB's of all time, compared to a kid who couldn't keep his piss clean for a month. It shows so many character flaws when someone who KNOWS they have to piss for a job interview, and doesn't care enough to keep his stuff clean.
Why would this franchise or team take a gamble on a kid with a situation that saw seasons wasted cause of Ricky's issue?
LT had his issues. BP was the HC at the time, not Director of Football Operations for a franchise. After his stint's with players having issues (The Player, TO) I don't see him dumping a knucklehead like Harvin on his franchise.

whats better doing weed before the nfl or doing coke while playing for the nfl?

Neither. But if you have a player who is ALREADY a Pro Bowl player then you do what you can for him. You don't go out and INVEST in a player who doesn't take his future in the NFL serious enough to keep clean for a month.

Comparing LT a known commodity at the time and a possible first round pick from FL which for a school has never put a WR in the league that was worth a darn, is apples and oranges.
