1.)Ryan Shazier, OLB out of Ohio St(6'1",237)

[Numerous draft boards have Zach Martin gone before the 13th pick. In the event that he's gone, I really do think Miami will target either Shazier or Mosley should they go defense. Shazier reminds me a lot of LaVonte David(hint of Von Miller's blitzing ability)......heat-seeking missile. Wheeler is disappointing to say the least, and Misi is.....Misi. Not a bad player, but......surely we can do better, right? Strong play-making ability. Playing with Ellerbe, should make for a nice 1-2 punch in terms of one pass rushing, and the other dropping back. Lots, and lots of scheme possibilities.]

2.)Morgan Moses, T out of Virginia(6'6",314)
Right Tackle highlights

[This guy is everything you want in a tackle. Can step in right away and start. Gives a little insurance just in case Albert goes down, as Moses is familiar with the position. Strong pick.]

3.)Brandon Thomas, G out of Clemson(6'3",317)

[We finalize our offensive line with Thomas, a guy who played T and G in college. Has a strong punch, to match a superior upper-torso. Good feet, which translates to him being a good pass blocker. Mauling run blocker. Him next to Albert and Pouncey should improve his game.]

4.)Charles Sims, RB out of West Virginia(6'1",213)

[Reminds me of Ryan Matthews & Le'Sean McCoy. Awesome pass catcher. Strong hands, and a wide catching radius. Doesn't let the ball into the body. Very, very shifty. If given a little crease, can take it to the house. Just big enough to have some effectiveness in the hole. Shows great vision, and unrelenting motor. Fights for extra yards. Looks like a natural. Behind a good offensive line....LOOK OUT. Could be special.]

5.)Aaron Lynch, DE out of USF(6'5",249)

[Oozes potential. One of the quickest DE's off the snap I've seen. Still inexperienced, and looks to get swallowed up sometimes at the line. Has to get stronger, and improve skills. Solid low-risk-HIGH-reward player.]

6.)Carrington Byndom, CB out of Texas(6'0",180)

[Solid depth, with chance to blossom into a role in a few years.]

7.)Austin Franklin, WR out of New Mexico St.(5'11",184)

[ST potential, with a chance to crack a WR spot.]

I've seen some personnel guys saying Brandon Thomas could sneak into the backend of the first round...round 2 I'd be a big fan of the pick and I think he's a better prospect than Moses. I really do like Shazier and want us to address LB in the draft early as well. Maybe a Brandon Thomas in round 2 and a James Hurst in round 3 would make more sense to me but I like it.

I agree. I think a diverse background where you can move inside and out is huge nowadays. Zach martin, thomas, Linder, ect.

draft those guys, be flexible, move guys, let them learn the entire game and give them value.

MiamiDolfan85, if our actual draft went like your mock, i'd be very happy.

10x better than any mock that has us taking Martin in the 1st (imo).

I'd prefer a more physical RB, but Sims is a good get in the 4th.

If we land Shazier in the 1st, I'll do a back flip.

There is a ton of talent in this draft...but the more I think about it I cannot think of a bigger upgrade than Shazier over Wheeler.

Its pretty wishful thinking that some of these guys are available where you drafted them. Shazier in the 1st rnd to me is a bit of a reach, especially at 19. Maybe I need to watch more of him. In order in the 1st round players I want who I think could be available, I want Mosley, Martin, ebron, amaro.

And Charles sims, I dont know what to think of him, he reminds me of that really fast and quick rb the raiders drafted a few years ago that everyone was going ga ga over. We never heard from him again. I watch sims and I wonder how much of that stuff he pulls off will work in the NFL. Same as I wondered about the guy the raiders drafted.

If were taking a rb high I want it to be either sankey or Hyde, if it's not either of them wait until late. I've actually jumped on the Kapri Bibbs bandwagon in the 6th or 7th rnd.

Welcome aboard!

It took me awhile.

But i realized...

Bibbs will not be denied. That's really all I cam say about that dude. One way or another, he's getting that first down or getting in that end zone.

Its not pretty, not flashy, but he will get there. This years Alfred Morris.

Not a fan of some of those players where they are slotted...but overall a pretty good mock!
