How many NFL-caliber players does Miami have coming back next season?
QB: 1 - Tannehill. We won't bring Moore back.
RB: 2 - Ajayi and Williams. I can't see Miller re-signing with Miami.
WR: 3 - Landry, Parker, and Stills. Jennings and Matthews are gone and Hazel hasn't proven anything.
TE: 1- Sims. Cameron is a cap casualty.
OL: 3 - Albert, Pouncey, and James. Our guard play continues to be garbage and we have no backups.
DL: 3 - Suh, Phillips, and Fede. I'd like to bring back Vernon and Shelby but they'll be more expensive than their play was worth this season. Wake will be a cap casualty. Mitchell will have to take a pay cut to come back.
LB: 3 - Jenkins, Misi, and C. McCain (special teams), although I think Misi could be a salary cap casualty given how many games he misses due to injury.
SEC: 4 - Jones, Bo. McCain, Thomas, and Aikens (special teams). Grimes has fallen off the cliff this season and will be a cap casualty.
ST: 3 - Franks, Darr, and Denney.
That's 23 players out of a 53-man roster. Another way, that's 30 positions where we need to add or upgrade.
