Ross is our problem guys, always has been and always will be. Here is what I see and have gathered from all this... from the day the players were "allowed" to talk, they showed alot of support for Ritchie and created the perception that martin never said anything about any kind of "bullying". Its sad we even have to mention the word bully here, but I digress. So it seems like the locker room is intact, with eachother. Meanwhile, the staff shows the world how incompetent they really are with coach philbin claiming he knew nothing about it, which is most likely true since most players claim the same, however he is pretty much doomed whether he says he knows or doesn't know. So he's just playing it safe for now. But it looks bad on the surface. This one thing brought up so many other questions about him also. No need to indulge in all of it again. While philbin hasn't really showed one way or another, the staff has. Ross came out and pretty much spewed this overwhelming love for martin and was quick to steer the Convo in another direction when asked about Ritchie. He is trying to reach out to martin and not Ritchie. He has shown nothing for Ritchie, which in this case, you would think that until all the details come out, he would support BOTH players until everything is said and done, but he hasn't. Just martin. I'm sure this is just for publicity but it shows so much disconnect between the office organization and the team. You know Ireland and Aponte got their heads up ross's ass so they pretty much think what Ross thinks. Ross keeps them around for I dunno what, but he does. The only thing I can think of is his wife would find out he's banging Aponte or something if he fires her and Ireland or something. Three sex triangle or something. Now he hires this board to try and help the team, which to me, just shows how much incompetence is in the organization to begin with. The people who are supposed to be running and gunning can't do it, so he brings in more people to do their job for them. Wtf... this is bullcrap. Ross is a straight up dumb ass million are or billionaire. Whichever one he is but the simple fact that he has so much incompetence under him is on him. And he won't get rid of them. The disconnect is huge here... we will never improve until this is fixed, with Ross, I just don't see it happening... am I wrong???

i tried to keep it short, but i couldnt stop typing cuz i hate ross so much and what hes to us!! lol, sorry

Miami's "hot mess" started with Huizenga back in the late 90's. I'm not sure why so many posters here mentally rewrite history and think that this team was somehow a competitor before the big fat Tuna came to town, or before Wayne-o slipped the turd into Ross's pocket and said "I'm out bitches".

This mess known as the Dolphins franchise is nothing new, its just every single solution that has been proposed and/or put into action since Wannestedt took the reigns and drove this franchise six feet under has FAILED MISERABLY.

PS I'm not saying that Ross is some genius or anything of the sort, just that this team has been a mess for SO long I'm not sure how many owners would know how to resurrect such a culture of FAIL

The Dolphins had winning seasons with JJ and Wansteadt, and made the playoffs even if only to the first round.

Huizinga was a great owner.

Saban would have gotten us in the playoffs in his first year here if Randy Mcmichaels would learn not to fumble and Chris Chambers would catch the easy passes that
hit him right between the numbers.

Anyone who slanders Huizinga doesn't know what the heck they are talking about. Remember Marino REGULARLY lost to the Bills and lost his ONE and only trip to Lombardi-ville.

Huizinga knew & respected the NFL enough to do it the right way. Ross doesn't have the smallest clue. He is bigger than the Dolphins and the entire NFL in his mind.

FIRST: I wasn't "slandering" Huizenga at all. LOL at some of the people on this site that believe if you question any of the old timers you are "slandering" them...word of advice, look up "slander" in a dictionary and practice using it correctly.

SECOND: Wanny took everything JJ was building and wiped his ass with it. How do you not remeber the GIGANTIC ****ING dropoff in this team between when JJ left and that ****ing moron Wanny tied his fate to Jay ****ing piece of **** Fiedler while burning THREE, that's THREE first round picks, including a #2 (fitting since Wanny is a steaming #2) on the combo of Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown (a stoner/drug addict and a part time RB who never was never a workhorse in college let alone the NFL)

THIRD: Was Wanny a succesful coach in your mind? Did you not see how the team systematically swirled down the drain and became more diseased and cancerous as his tenure went on? How about when he mortgaged about 5 years of the future in draft picks to try to save his worthless hide.

On that note, was Wanny a good hiring decision in your opinion? How about Saban, or Cam Cameron...or the Big fat pile of **** Tuna and Sparano. Every one of those decisions, which happened during the long downward spiral of this team HAPPENED UNDER HUIZENGA'S watch.

So yeah, I'd say the FACTS and HISTORY back up my earlier statement and trump your misguided warm memories.

One could make the argument the Dolphins were doing it all wrong, when Marino was here, because they threw too much, they needed to find balance, a running game, remember all that?

It's what drove Shula out, eventually.

Critics said the game passed him bye.

Now to today, look guys, I'll say it again, you have to have a solid QB to go to the next level. Did you notice the Colts record and how they lead their division?

Did you also notice Luck has never lost back-to-back games?

Did you notice how Peyton Manning nearly took his team to the Super Bowl last year? You recall how when we always got new receivers, it was always, well Dan needs to get used to his new receivers, they're not on the same page. My point in all the above is, it doesn't matter what all the excuses are, you'll always have one, you'll always have critics too.

One thing is clear, you're not going to win many games turning the ball over, taking sacks and kicking field goals, its been going on for how long?

Ding, the bell goes off, lets do something different.....?

Too much emotion there buddy... "Miami's "hot mess" started with Huizenga back in the late 90's. I'm not sure why so many posters here mentally rewrite history and think that this team was somehow a competitor before the big fat Tuna came to town , or before Wayne-o slipped the turd into Ross's pocket and said "I'm out bitches". Re-read what I wrote. They WERE competitive. Slander is the correct word as well jr, you are the one re-writing history in a negative light. Slander is the EXACT word that describes precisely that. You might want to look it up since you seem to have the wrong idea of what it means.
