Two of those players are on IR now.

The third doesn't play on the defensive line.

This team has a serious problem on its defensive line.

Vincent Taylor and Davon Godchaux are good pieces for the future, but this team is utterly screwed at DE. Our first round pick from a couple years ago is a bust. Our supposed best pass rusher is 36. And the other pass rushing specialist we brought in has been nothing more than a dud.

Another DE is on IR because he can't stay healthy, and the other JAG is overpaid for underproduction.

On top of that, the defensive coordinator can't seem to properly dial up a blitz and lets the underperforming DL try (and fail) to produce pressure.

In other words... S.O.S.

That's what I've been saying on chat Jason. DE has to be our first round pick in April. I just hope we don't draft another Harris.
 
I’m not done with Harris yet. He could forge out a Dee Ford type career. Unimpressive at first, labled a bust, but comes on strong in his third or fourth year. They won’t cut him so let him finish his rookie deal and see if his curve is going upwards.
 
Harris is done. Sure its happened. A lot of things have happened. But its just another player that we have this lottery mentality with. Just another guy we hope goes against all the odds and we win the lottery with. Our DE's are an embarrassment. That was supposed to be the strength of this defense and Hayes is probably the only one worth a damn. Just cut them all and invest it elsewhere if you can't find some other quality ends to replace them. Just bring in a bunch of low priced scrubs since all we have now is a bunch of high priced scrubs.
 
Harris is the only de on this roster that I would say will definitely be back. Just cause his salary relative to the position is on a rookie deal well below market.

But 2019 it’s **** or get off the pot time.

Wouldn’t surprise me if they clear a path for him. But again show or they look to replace you.
 
Glad to see someone is making a piece of my 1 post of Miami paying nearly 20% of our cap at DE.
Yet they had 7 of 11'sacks.Absolutely abysmal IMO.
There is ZERO reason to keep any DE we have.At 20% 1 should be a game changer yet there are none on the team.

This teams biggest problems on defense is from no pass rush. that’s how teams convert 3rd and 20 on us on a regular basis....no pass rush it’s been like that for a long time.
 
The Defensive backs are getting screwed by their D-Line. I'd say front 7. Any QB in the NFL who's even half decent can find an open receiver. Phins D-Line this season are beyond poor.
