Miami's Secondary

Delpit would be a steal at #56, same for Whitfield. Chinn and Duggar at #70 would also potentially be steals, as well. Chinn would give Flores plenty of movement options on the back 7 of the defense. His size would allow him to be moved closer to LOS.

On X...

Can't link to it, because I don't remember where I saw it... but this is what I read. (Who knows, maybe it's true)

Girlfriend found out that's he'd bought an expensive purse for another woman and lost the farm... went after him. Eventually, she tripped on one of his crutches.

I know that the police dropped this VERY quickly, so whatever happened, it didn't look like abuse.

If this is actually what happened, I'm guessing he's in the clear.

If nothing else, it's a funny story.

Just because X is "in the clear" with the authorities, doesn't mean Goodell still won't suspend him..

If it went down like I just described... it's self-defense...

Even 2 games would be too much...

That is true but if what we've heard is the real story, I don't see the grounds for it, as there were in other cases.

I'm sure the NFLPA would scream, and thow a fit (a law suit as well).

I would be very happy with either Delpit or McKinney but I can't see drafting both.

Winfield Jr could be had at 39 possibly and he is as good FS as well.

Most Mocks that have us trading up to Lions spot, cost would be much less then above. To trade 2 spots would most likely cost #5 pick and our 1st pick in second round. No need to throw in Howard.

I think it would probably cost us 26th pick instead of second round, because Chargers pick right behind us in first round and 2-3 picks before us in second round.

It sound about right. Most of these woman know nfl rules. So if they dont get there way..it easy make these nfl player victim..

We'll drop several spots after X is unloaded. I believe he'll be used for a trade. Keeping the 2 highest paid CB's in the league?

The cast and crew at NFL Network just ranked Miami's cornerback tandem third in the NFL. With Howard and Jones that could definitely be a tremendous duo and the strength of the team.

The Dolphins do need to add a safety and I expect the team could do that fairly early in the draft.

3) Byron Jones and Xavien Howard, Miami Dolphins: As I mentioned earlier in this piece, Brian Flores believes in playing man coverage and the Dolphins have invested heavily at cornerback with two of the top three highest-paid players at the position (in average salary per year). Jones and Howard are bump-and-run specialists with the combination of size, length and athleticism to challenge receivers all over the field. Considering how each defender forces quarterbacks to make tight-window throws on the perimeter, the Dolphins' blanket corners should cause problems for plenty of opponents in 2020.
