Michael Bennett retires from the NFL after 11 seasons

He was a pretty good running back for Minnesota back in the day. Hopefully he enjoys his next career.

Wrong player but yeah, he was fast and was good for a few years then went downhill after that

Knew it was the wrong player, just making a joke. NFL teams didn't really like fast and good as much back then. Their dream was Eddie George, a 3.6 YPC guy who was unspectacular but if you wanted you could hand it to him three times in a row and likely get a first down. They liked big and predictability. Now with offenses generally being more spread out, and the passing game being more emphasized, fast and good is the norm, with the caveat being that teams usually have a couple fast and good guys and none get the lion's share of carries anymore.
