lol saying something like that only detracts from the truth. He may as well come clean like he did and apologize. He is young and he was having a little fun. Atleast by coming clean he keeps his image because the American people love the truth.

Saying you didn't inhale while you look to be vibing HARD on a bong just isn't the smart thing to do lol.
 
that jackass that owned the bong tried to sell it on ebay for 100 grand. police tracked him down and arrested him along with 7 others. phelps should start to worry b/c these dildos will definitely sell him down the river. the picture isn't enough but testimony from persons present is a different story. people suck.
 
He's gotta be smarter than that. When you are selling clean cut, you've got to be clean cut or the wheels fall off quick.
 
Not a smart move on his part considering his "Status",but,but,but, when its all said and done, hes just a kid. Making kid mistakes.

very true. i just feel bad b/c not only is he a good guy but also - he's a swimmer. he's not a major political figure - like my boy marion barry - he swims. he could use some more brain cells to aid in his decision making though.

See, I honestly don't care that he smoked weed. Doesn't bother me a bit. If I had kids that swam, I'd explain to him that MP is human, and, he makes mistakes. It does not take away from his accomplishments. I've smoked pot a few times in my life too.

Pot is not banned by the IOC. IF this were steroids? Whole different issue. That DOES take away from his accomplishments. Like Ricky for instance. Pot is banned by the NFL. While I could care less about hte pot smokeing itself...Its banned and, him getting banned affects the team. It may be an odd opinion, but it's mine. :)

oh i definitely agree. he's not hurting anyone but himself and people shouldn't take this so personally. he swims. let him burn - just don't let everyone know about it.
