Offensive MVP - Ryan Tannehill - Nobody is really standing out above the rest on offense. Tannehill is the QB and inspite of the turnovers made big throws late in 3 of our victories.
Defensive MVP - Brent Grimes - Would have gone Cam Wake here, but he actually has been rather quiet outside of the first and last games we played (plus injured). Grimes has brought some consistency to our CB position and has been durable. Consistently does a great job on the #1/#2 wideouts. Honorable Mention to Dmitri Patterson who if wasn't always hurt would probably be the guy here.
Biggest Surprise - Charles Clay - Keller went down and we looked doomed, but Clay has been a very noble replacement and has really become a solid option at TE for the Dolphins
Biggest Disappointment - Tyson Clabo - Not even close, he was supposed to be an answer at RT and became a huge liability instead. Benched midseason and only back because of Martin's disappearance.
Most Improved - Jared Odrick - Shouldn't come as a coincidence that he is starting to shine at DT in the 4-3, his more natural position. After being out of position for 3 years he's showing the world that he may be the best player on a very talented defensive tackle rotation.
Best play of the year - Cam Wake safety - Yea, it was a huge play and a huge win for this team. Could be the play that turns the season around.
Best game of the year - Mia vs. ATL - Sure the Atlanta win doesn't seem as great now that they are stinking up the joint . . . but you had the Don Jones body slam, the Dion Sims one handed TD catch and the Dion Jordan deflection that go intercepted to seal the game. Was a great game and a good win in front of the home crowd to begin the season 3-0.
