So its Golic and Erik Kuselias but they talk for Greeney

Pretty much Golic thinks Pennington will start all 16
Erik does not.

They say Pat White will help the Wildcat... (Personally I think Ronnie will handle a lot still)

They say Jason Taylor will help but not do to much.. bring up dancing with the stars. (Personally I think he will be a big help)

They both say they dont think the dolphins will win 11.
Eric says 11-5 is the crazyest thing that happened last season.
Says last year the hootie guy said he thought they would go 8-8 and got laughed at.

Greeney thinks we will go 7-9 <---- jets fan
Eric Kuselias brings up the schedule says we could start 0-3 he guesses 8-8
Golic says Pats taking the division and we go 7-9

They only give the Schedule as reasons why we wont be good they dont say where they think our team is lacking at..

Not that I put and credit into this just thought I would share.

I've pretty much been saying the same things they said this morning. 11 - 5 was the craziest thing ever lol. I think we're an 8 - 8 team. 9 wins max. 7 at the least. I think we'll be better as a team than last season but our record won't be indicitative of that improvement. It's a brutal brutal schedule in a league designed for everyone to go 8 - 8 as it is. Closing with Pittsburgh isn't going to help us get into the playoffs if we need that to put us in a Wild Card. There's no way we go two full seasons and not suffer some really unfortunate injuries. Last year was just insane.

You know, I have said this before and I will say it again. Just because a team has the hardest schedule in the league, or the easiest, does NOT dictate their record for the season.

People put WAY to much stock in the strength of schedule. Am I entirely doubting the possiblity every media source out there is right about us? No. Nothing is impossible, especially in the NFL. We could go 8-8. But the door swings the both ways. But we could just as easly go 11-5. That's what I love about the NFL. A different team can surprise you every year.

I mean hell, we could just as easly see the Texans and the Lions in the Super Bowl. You never know. And in the NFL it IS possible.

So quit listening to the media and have some faith in our team. The more faith we have in them, I believe, the better they will do.

This is my first post;

I think those fat cats set around and talk about how we will go 8-8 , 9-7 and so on.

Think about it, Is it possible that this dolphins team is better than all those teams on our sched, yes that includes the pats. I think the 2009 Dolphins are going to bring the pain this year. And don't care what anybody else says.

Just because we went 1-15 two years ago..people act like this is the same team.
I say screw them. I've been a georgia dolphin fan since 1972, and I'm still and always will be a fan. yes we will have a tuff season. So I say roll up the sleeves and get to work and prove all those chumps wrong.

Has anyone gone back and looked up what strength of schedule turned out to mean in the past ?

I wish I had the time to research it.

That's a good point, are the Colts that good this year vs last year.
The stability in coaching and the additions to the Miami team make enough of a difference when compared to last year.
What was the strength of schedule of the teams we play this year vs last year.

The same dolts who are predicting us to go 7-9 are predicting a playoff season for the Atlanta Falcons. Both teams over-achieved last year. However, for some reason, the "experts" think Miami will regress and Atlanta will not.

Lesson: Screw 'em!

They must not much a lot of Dolphins football. Greeny is a piece of trash Jets fan who was running his mouth about the Jets winning the Super-Bowl with Favre. I think they predicted the Dolphins to go 4-12 last year

Here is how I see this playing out....

Narrowly beat Atlanta week 1 and the talk will be that Atlanta isn't what they thought they were.

Beat Indy week2 and the talk will be the falloff of the Colts.

Beat San Diego in week 3, then people will start to take notice.

The talking heads are going to take every opportunity to doubt this team. Winning will force them to take notice.

It is a surprise to me that underdog was not in the list of nick names for Miami when they first made the team cause i truly can't remember the last time sport news or any other sports fan care what the dolphins where doing. Oh the 80's dolphins were popular.... well it did not do much then and its not going to do any good now. Remember what everybody said last year if a reporter said 8-8 he was laugh at hell they say winning 4 would be hard for us. Don't forget ESPN is married to Tom Brady, yeah might have a love affair with Brett and Vick, but wait till tom wins one for the team. There be a party at espn and them all kissing a fathead of Tom.

uhh We didn't suffer unfortunate injuries last year? How about both of our starting guards going down? One in the 1st game.
