Yes, picking games really means nothing. I usually don't create threads pointing out what "experts" think, but for some reason I just had to for this one. Florio, who let's face it, has been a Dolphin basher ever since Parcells took over, picks Miami to beat the Jets.
This thread will probably get these typical response:
"Florio is an idiot, so who cares?"
"Oh man, why did he pick us, it would have been better if he picked the Jets."
Jet fans will probably chime in with this classic stupid response:
"Well, cancel the game. No reason to play the game, we are going to lose now."
Only reason I am pointing this out is because Florio, a proclaimed Dolphin hater, actually picks us to win a game against a team that most media outlets have overhyped. I actually think Florio sees what most educated football fan sees. That is that the Jets are really not as good as advertised and Sanchez has hit the rookie wall.
http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/32779492/ns/sports-nfl?pg=16#spt_PFT_picks_09Typically, the league catches up with a rookie quarterback after six or seven games. At that point in the year, there’s enough film to determine the player’s strengths, weaknesses, and tendencies.
For Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, the Saints solved him in Week 4.
The Dolphins, desperate for a win a week ago, woke up with a thrashing of the Bills. Miami is now loose, confident, and ready to make a move aimed at tightening things up at the top of the AFC East.
Pick: Dolphins 20, Jets 14
