Mike Lombardi: Dolphins want Ryan Tannehill over Flynn

How does he know all this? Do moles in every organization make these calls and drop dimes to Lombardi,Schefter, Mort ETC all day?? If true this is going to be a boring free agency as we await the arrival of tannehill at the draft....

Hey, if Philbin doesn't want Flynn, I don't want Flynn.

Not sure about Tannehill though...

I don't really see this as a bad thing. Philbin worked with Flynn for 4 years. Sherman had Tannehill as his QB for 2 years. Nobody knows more about these 2 QBs than our coaches. I have a feeling they know which one is truly better

IF Philbin, Sherman and Ireland think he is legit and ready to come in and compete from day one, picking him at #8 is not a reach.

But in another thread Darlington knows what he is talking about with Peyton's criticism of the FO because it fits your agenda.

Agreed.

We'll find out tomorrow what Philbin thinks of Flynn.

I can understand them feeling this way. But it fairly well guarantees Matt Moore will be the opening day starter, and more than likely our starter all season.

What are you talking about? All I am saying is how do these insiders get their info? I wonder if every organization has moles that feed the insiders info all day in return for money or something...

Ouch! Wow if a guy that spent 4 years coaching him doesn't want him...geez!

If Ponder can go #11 or #12, whatever he was, there's no reason Tannehill can't go 8

If given a choice of Flynn or Tannehill, I would choose Tannehill too.
Flynn has a noodle arm, and no experience. Tannehill has a better arm and has started only 2 fewer NFL games than Flynn.
Plus, Tannehill's contract will be easier on the cap.

Agreed.

So funny when for the entire past three months all the dolphins brass has been screaming is how they will whole heartedly aggressivlely pursue the QB postion...

Why do we want Tannehill when he had the smallest hands of any QB at the combine? He is going to struggle in cold weather games or rainy games. His hands are too small for NFL standards.
