Mike Martz done in SF

I found the news somewhat surprising I would of thought singletary would of wanted him on his staff. I like Singletary he has balls. I hope for his sake his decissions pan out.
 
Apparently, Singletary didn't find Martz's offense a good fit in SF. I guess he wants more of a power running attack, which is good for them, considering they have Frank Gore.
 
Im thinking it might be related to all that back stabbing going on around midseason over that controversial run play from the bad spot. Im thinking that may of been the nail in the coffin between them two.
 
Yeah I don't think they ever got along well.

Martz was a puzzling hire to begin with this season for them. He went against everything they were trying to do, and they really didn't have the personnel to run said system.

he was a hire of desperation by Nolan. He knew he was on thin ice so he tried to make a splash. Thing is, Martz thinks he can still be a HC in the league and this has cost him his job at Detroit and SanFran as he clashed with Marinelli and Singletary because he wouldn't call the games like he wanted them to.

He's a brilliant offensive mind, but his ego got so huge while he was a HC, he forgot his place
