Mike Pouncey not expected to miss much time after visiting hip specialist -

JLC scoop? He's probably out for the season then.

i'm pretty sure they're just being extra cautious. with his past hip issues, if he feels any discomfort he immediately pulls himself out of game/practice/flamenco dancing and goes to see a specialist.

probably just routine soreness.

It's a pleasant surprise. I don't know much about the physiology of the hip, but I'd be curious what structurally is going wrong that flares up again and again, and whether it can be permanently resolved.

Hope that this is correct. So much for all the FH experts who said that he was finished and had played his last game for Miami. It seems like whenever there is some initial bad news from left field, a number of FH posters always immediately go into hyperbole and want to step off the ledge and slash their wrists on the way down.
Good luck to Big Mike for a full and speedy recovery. He is a key leader on this team and we need him.

i already speculated post surgical soreness. i'm not a doctor, i just play one on the internet.

Maybe both he and Albert will be back when we need them against Baltimore

That's great news, say you want about pouncey, but he's a leader on this team and the leader of this oline. And for all his goofy antics, he loves football and plays hard. That's why he was voted captain last year.

It's not a coincidence he came back and we started winning. We need pouncey more than most people want to admit.

That would be nice....its hard to get too hopeful of that with their history of injury.

Pouncey in particular due to his being connected to chronic prior injury.

Please just get to 7-4 so we have a healthy Pouncey and Albert for the extremely important AFC matchup with Baltimore. We have a bad history losing to them and it's on the road. Out physical them and you're really on another plain. Then it's just the final showdown with East opponents.

Yeah, personally, I prefer the FH experts that accept any positive news as gospel, reject any negative news as garbage, and are fine with injury prone players and feel availability isn't an important aspect of a player's overall value and then go on to whine about opposing viewpoints.

Settle down, discuss the topic and leave the complaints about opposing views and attacks against other FH members to the Anything Goes or Locker, please.
