Why not....This guy has the fire and will eventually become a head coach in this leaque some day....why not for Miami

Would prefer a guy with a little more coaching experience, but he may bring more intensity and focus than any guy out there. The players have to respect a guy like Singletary.

His name has been mentioned for a HC here in Miami but it is unlikely and he will be SF defensive coordinator this year and might get a job next season if he can get that defense into the top 10.

I agree Mike would be a great addition to our team but if we get him, we need to bring a o-cord. that will make our team better.

I tell you what ... I'd love to have Mike Singletary in Miami.

Anybody see Mike Nolan talking about Singletary on the NFL Network on Thursday night? Among other things, Nolan said Singletary is the greatest leader he had ever been around; he's an excellent teacher who makes players better; and as great a player as Singletary was, "he's twice the man."

After the last guy the Dolphins had, that would be one hell of an improvement.

Even if you disagree, at least give me this: you could put Singletary in a helmet and pads right now, and he'd still be twice the linebacker Eddie Moore would ever be. :)

On NBC at some point today (either before the first game or at halftime of the first game), Peter King said that Singletary appears to be the top choice of the Falcons' owner. And the Atlanta paper mentioned that Singletary and Rivera both interviewed for the Falcons job.

Yeah he played for Atlanta and I believe he also lived there also so he is the most likely man to get the head coaching gig in Atlanta.

I heard that Rivera or Singletary were the front runners. Man, alot going on.

It will definately break the traditional thinking down South

Bring in a fiery competitor that commands respect and knows the game...we need to keep the defensive mentally

I would assume he respects Zack because....they have a lot in common...Thats right folks

We need to take a different course

No more glamorous or feel good picks for Head Coach
