One thing people are forgetting is that Mike Tannebaum is still in charge around here. Even if Philbin, Coyle, Hickey and Lazor get fired, he will still be around. Who knows who he will bring in and based off of his past, we have a long losing road ahead of us if he is calling the shots. Hickey is the best thing around here. Yes, they hired him to be a yes man basically. He's done exactly what they have told him to do, and obviously the regime didnt have any intention of fixing this O line, LB's or secondary, otherwise we would have. Ross, is the source of this virus and Im convinced he will not get rid of Tannebaum. Im so damn affected by all of this it's pathetic.

If the structure is like it was announced he is not completely in charge yet. Philbin reports to Ross, not Tannebaum or Hickey. Hickey reports to Tannebaum, but has final say so on all football personnel decisions.

All in all it's a screwed up situation. Best thing that could happen is Ross sell this team...

The complaint should be that Ross should have allowed Tannenbaum hire his OWN GM and together hire their own coach. Imagine Dan Quinn right now and how much better you'd feel.

I was not a huge Quinn guy months ago, but I was wrong on that one.

How can i forget? it depresses the life out of me everytime I think about it.

No clean start at the end of this year, we have the Jets grim reaper running the show

They ALL need to go , a clean sweep. Would love to know who made the decisions not to upgrade our OL, LB. Many many poor decisions made by all of them to put such a poor product on the field.

Ross's love affair with Ireland resulted in settling for Philbin.

If he refuses to get rid of Tannebaum and Hickey he will have to settle for a second tier HC again.

No top notch coaching prospect is going to come to Miami with its current structure.

This mess is all on Ross. I appreciate his willingness to spend money to improve the roster and stadium, but his front office and coaching decisions are for $HIT. And you can throw in his confidence in Aponte and Peterson into that mix as well.

Hickey was here a year before Tannenbaum and the 2014 draft was his. He wasn't hired to be a yes man.

That said, I like Tannenbaum but am concerned that Eric Mangini will be the next coach.

....Or Mike could have been allowed to hire Rex who was also available.

Do not blame Tannenbaum on this. Joe's teams have blamed this flat for the past four years for the most part.

The lone bright spot in the front office last year was Hickey, so what do we do? Demote him for Mike ****ing Tannenbaum.

Oh boy I'm looking forward to seeing Hickey take the fall for Tannenbaum so we can keep him here for another 3 years.

We should make Dan Marino head coach. Team going 6-10 anyway.

My problem with Tannebaum is not this team thats on the field so far. It's where this team is headed if he is in charge. Tannebaum is the guy that wanted the Jets to draft Mark Sanchez against everybody's say so. He is the one that spent big in FA EVERY freakin year and how well did that work for him? He has been here one year and what did we do this offseason, we signed the biggest name in FA and gave him the biggest contract EVER! I was just as pumped as most everyone else about it but now I wish we would have used the money and resources elsewhere.

6-10? Never happen. If they can't beat he jags and bortles and makes Taylor look like Marino they won't beat any other team. They may win 2 games this year. Have you seen the schedule after the bye?

What has Hickey done to impress you all so much? The 2014 draft is looking like trash already with the exception of Landry and possibly James. It's too early to judge the 2015 draft but beyond Parker ( and anybody could have made that pick ) and maybe Douglas I'm not see much to be excited about. He's left glaring holes on the team all over the place, and tried to cover those holes with players who have no business on the field. I'm not trying to bash, but what makes him so great?
